Research shows that the best way to learn a language is to have authentic experiences with it with Comprehensible Input.
Rather than boring grammar lessons, we provide free interesting listening experiences for learners of Spanish. By listening to our stories, culture explanations and games, you will get used to real Spanish as it's used in context, and develop a native-like intuition for the grammar and the vocabulary, together with a clear pronunciation. The videos try to be easy enough for a complete beginner to start picking up the language.
Comprehensible Input means that the videos try to use basic Spanish as much as possible and be easy enough for a complete beginner in the language to get the gist of the story and start picking up vocabulary. That way you'll get that i+1 necessary to make fast progress in the language.

Things I use to record my videos that I recommend:
    - Overhead camera: amzn.to/2Cim95k
    - Front camera: amzn.to/2yvW5CB
    - Whiteboard marker (the BEST I found after trying many, even other models by BIC were not as good as this one): amzn.to/2C6k3c6

I'm glad you made this video on the way down, instead of on the way up! Those are a lot of stairs!

It's a really nice region. I've hiked Montserrat, and just really enjoyed exploring Catalunya in general. Thanks for sharing!

What software do you use at 00:09 for the intro transition?
I love your videos by the way. They improved my Spanish no end and your philosophy inspired me to make "comprehensible input" videos for English!

I hired a graphic designer to do it. I think he used AfterEffects.

It's great that I've inspired you! Will you upload the videos here on CZcams?

@@DreamingSpanish That's the plan at least! I'm hoping to get the ball rolling by uploading my first video by Saturday and work on lighting, audio and transitions later.
Actually I dug through your old videos for inspiration. It looks like you got the hang of it quite quickly (apart from cooking potatoes, your videos look immediately very professional!)
I haven't figured out why some of you videos have taken off and others haven't. My current theory is that videos on Spanish culture tended to be more popular at least initially since your camera presence took the most time to develop.
Anyway, I'll be continuing to watch your videos closely - to improve my Spanish as well as to learn about Youtubing!
I'll have a look into AfterEffects too - thanks!

Some of the most popular are things that people are likely to search for on CZcams, like cultural topics, festivals and holidays, etc. And then there's the one about Verano Azul, which I have no idea why so many people have watched it.

La has visitando?

    • @DreamingSpanish
      @DreamingSpanish  Před 4 lety +1

¡No he ido nunca a Vall de Núria!
