Those things are an engineering marvel, all that weight balanced on small plastic rod.
I remember playing against the Dark Angel one back in 2nd edition, assault cannon and heavy bolter. Used to cut down my Tyranids with ease.
Great work as always, going to be a great force once it is all done.
Cheers mate. Yeah they really were an engineering marvel!
Just picked myself up one of these for my upcoming space wolves and I'm absolutely stoked. That model is truly glorious!
Yeah they are fantastic models! But my god are they hard to put together. This model must have been a great reason why everything has gone plastic 😂
Looking awesome Jonny! Onwards and upwards in yellow and red!
Cheers cal. I’m getting there lol
love that banner bearer model looks great, such a great model.
Ahh cheers mate 👌👍
Very cool work especially the lines between the red and yellow
Cheers mate. This was not the easiest model to paint that’s for sure
You've done a magnificent model justice
Ahh thank you. I can’t stress how tough this model was lol 😂
Very awesome!
I'll be honest, while I love that version of the landspeeder, you're right about them being a pain to assemble. I broke down and just found STL files someone made of a clone version and 3d printed some. So much easier than the old metal (even if metal is more nostalgic).
Aaron! mate that such a good idea! Im doing that next time! I was going to quit the hobby on this model!!!
Where can one find these stl files? 😊
@@Miniscape-wh40k I think I found them on Cults or Thingiverse. I don't remember which, but they weren't hard to find (at the time). Especially when you start to grok the ahem...alternative names...people use for things.
@@JonnyWatsonGaming Right! I don't typically go that route, but after the third time of it coming apart after using maximum pinning and two-part epoxy, I gave up and just hoisted the old Jolly Roger.
I don't feel bad for a model of this provenance (or you have to fiddle with this much, JFC).
@@aaronbrown4275 thanks. I looked a few weeks ago but it seems like the only ones are paid for, which is fine. Do you know what the alternative names are?
Excellent work. Sorry you had to go through so much effort. But it worked out in the end.
Haha it was hell 😂😜😂😜
Nice work! Love this project.
Thanks mate. The project have been a lot of fun so far
Yeh, solid job!
Cheers mate 👍
Amazing work!
Cheers dude 👌
I'm interested in how you got such a clean line between the red and yellow on the body, especially on the vertical stabilizer, did you mask it or was it just freehand?
Hi Jack, Yeah it was a case of take my time freehanding it. Cavate here is I had to go backwards and forwards with the red and yellow to get it to a point I liked. Masking may have been easier.
Very nice mate
Cheers Leon 👌
