SUPER SIMPLE ‼️HOMEMADE MAC AND CHEESE.. NO ROUX, NO EGGS.. CREAMY AND SATISFYING...

- If you want a simple yet satisfying homemade macaroni and cheese recipe, give this one a try
Ingredients:
4-5 cups elbow noodles
12 cups of water
2 tablespoons chicken bouillon
6 oz. Cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
40 ounces shredded cheese
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons salt
1 and 1/2 cup of heavy cream
1 EXTRA full cup of evaporated milk
1 stick of butter (1/2 stick melted, 1/2 to grease pan)
Directions:
Add water and bouillon to large pot and bring to a boil
Add noodles and boil 7-8 minutes until Al dente'
Drain noodles (do not rinse)
Add noodles back to pot
Add 1/2 stick melted butter, cream cheese, 1/2 cup heavy cream and sour cream. Mix well
Add salt and pepper to taste
Add about 70% of the shredded cheese, mix well
In a bowl add 1 extra full cup
of heavy cream and 1 extra full cup of evaporated milk, whisk together
Grease baking pan with remaining butter
Add half of the noodle mixture, top with half of remaining cheese
Pour half of the liquid over the noodles
Add remaining noodles, pour remaining liquid over the noodles and top with remaining cheese
Sprinkle with paprika and top with remaining butter
Bake at 400 degrees 30-35 mins
Let cool 10 minutes before serving

I don't do a roux or eggs either.i use butter,2 cans evaporated milk,1 block cream cheese,sharp cheddar, mozzarella and muenster cheese.seasonings is basic as well...lil salt,black pepper,lil garlic powder,lil onion powder and some smoke paprika...bake and devour😂

Boiling aldente is not necessary unless your making Mac Salad. It's does not have to be fully cooked all the way, Because your Mac noodles will finish cooking for the duration of time in the oven, along with other ingredients. Upon completion your noodles texture will be as it should be, aldente.

Well, this recipe includes every kind of fat that has ever been invented. It's no wonder why you wouldn't need to make a roux. In particular, adding endless butter for no particular reason will only make your mac & cheese greasy, and isn't even necessary with the cream cheese and sour cream, of which you need only ONE. Sheesh.
