Black House Radio’s first event CHURCH was deeply moving & powerful. They rented a church and we PACKED IT OUT with people and great music! I wanted to document my set for folks that couldn’t be there, so you could catch the spirit just as we did! This set taps in to the energy that sustains religious practice. The prayers, spoken word..the shout. Black folks do spiritual engagement different. It gets real deep. We kept ourselves and our practices coded within what was accepted and it kept our spirit alive, sustained our freedom movements…and so that is the energy. The essence of what this set presents. Hope you all enjoy it.
