"As a Charity we make so much money we have to spend it somewhere" Well, how about lowering the rents to your "residents" instead????
🙋♂️
to be fair most of the “residents” are too lazy to get off there arses and get a job…
@@cozmiixxknow them do you?, or are you just assuming this because you’re in a better place than they are?, nobody knows what is around the corner so remember that because it could be you with no job at some point
@cozmiixx people like you who makes comments on nothing you know anything about are like these people who come out of there place of work and tell other people what they can and cannot do! Ignorant
My favourite part was when Steveo there blabbed that their charity "has" to spend its income on nice buildings for its staff. Looking at their car park, we can all see where the rest of the money goes. Good job they're not forced to waste it on their housing stock, eh?
A lot of charities have very well off ceos
The whole 'charity status' system is corrupt. The money is usually spent by giving it to the top officials as wages.
Exactly. It's corruption. All these 'non profits' and 'foundations' too. They just take the money to pay the CEO's and staff.. and give the minimum to the Charity.
I'm afraid this seems a little uneducated and repeated from someone else. Not that I'm protecting the idiot in the video who also had no idea what he was saying.
@@TeepeeformybumholioBullshit. Becaus of one bad charity, you see them all thoght the same filter. I'M A CEO of a charity and we finance all our activity by our self. I.E, I PAY OUT OF MY OWN POCKET.
4:50 "Charities work by spending money, if you don't you get in trouble. That's why we have a nice building for staff to work in"....yeah pretty sure the charities should be spending money on housing, not making a pristine HQ...How do we file a report to an Ombudsman?
Shysters - all of them.
If there were no questions about the way this charity is operating financially; the Health & Safety Manager has done his level best to raise suspicion.
"it's only a small one, but you know all about that" lol
Given their website is full of infinity Bomalians and zero indigenous Europeans we know what they're up to.
Nice to spend Charity cash on a new building for staff, rather than housing for people who need it.
Housing for people who need it 😂😂😂😂😂 back to work
yeah we don't want any immis getting housed
💯🧠💪🤝
Agreed, i often wonder how much of our charity giving actually goes to the people in need.
This is a textbook example of "Tell me you have something to hide without telling me you have something to hide". Dodgy people working there.
Our mate Steve could have at least lied and said that all the extra dosh goes towards their residents' homes rather than their luxury offices. Steve-o dropped a real clanger there.
Steve is gonna have to have a meeting with himself. Then he'll have to write himself up.
So a charity with too much money has to spend it on expensive stuff for themselves, what happened to the people they're meant to be helping, oh maybe in this charity it begins at home
Your statement makes no sense
@@jimmy23456 It does to me.
@@jimmy23456erm it does. What he is saying is they are a charity with a really expensive looking building. Why do they need a fancy building why not save that money and give it to the charity.
@@jimmy23456, hmmm………… I had no difficulty grasping @gravelbags comment!! The largest word is only three syllables, do you find that challenging?? 🤷🏼♂️ 🤔 😳
You’ll find that a lot of charities don’t actually use all of the money for what it’s supposed to be used for.
If anyone’s ever read a charity’s accounts, they look like this:
Donations 100
Staff salaries (99)
Good cause (1)

Unbelievable, in the UK as a charity, you can make a 10% profit, or in his words, surplus? Here in France 🇫🇷 we can make 0 profit. It's all honorary and has to be 100% invested into itself. You can employ staff just like any other business and are tax-exempt up to a total income of 40,000€ a year. After that, you pay taxes at the normal rate. I believe what he is on about is financial grants. They have to be used 90% for self-investment and 10% may be used for running costs. However, if you don't use up the grant, it may be reduced next time. That is the penalization he is talking about. Here, however, you can't get grants from the country unless you have at least 300 or 400 members and have an annual income of at least 50,000€. That's why small charities in France are generally obliged to fundraise in public. That feels like begging and let me tell you, the people treat you just the same. They just don't know how the system works and automatically assume that charities get everything given, when most smaller organizations like the one my wife, my son, my daughter, and I founded in 2012, are generally self-financed. There is more but I don't want to bore you to death. Lol
So sorry, I got bored 🙏
Good info.
Interesting post. Thank you.

Anyone else stop watching as soon as the song comes on?
I leave it running only as long as I'm commenting or reading comments, then I'm off.
If it was played as background to interesting video (eg, drone shots), I'd be a big fan. When I'm in the mood for just music, I play something of my choice..
I pretty much skip to the interactions. As let’s be honest we just want to see the arguments
Not a fan of the song.
Not me. You should actually try listening to them.
they are awful and being AI videos makes then even less entertaining for me
Your "back to work" is more menacing than the inventor of that line UK Meet the Tyrants.
Wow imagine the privilege of having too much money that you have to frivolously spend it like they have on their fancy office... pretty sure the homeless or unwell people of this country would benefit from their surplus money...
Why should they help homeless people
Back to work and they could have a house
@@jimmy23456That's what a charity is.
If you gave it beggars it'd only end up spent on crack and smack. The only people that would benefit would be drug dealers.
At least this fancy office created construction jobs.
When you go to the seaside and take a few photos on the beach, the seagulls don't come down and gather round going 'Why are you filming' - 'It's private here mate, what are you doing'?' - 'give us a bite of your sandwich?'

"It is only a little one you know all about that." Very quick DJ love it!
For a brief moment there I believed this was going to be a positive response from the staff, but then it all went to shit quite rapidly.
He went all bad cop as soon as Simon security turned up. Bad company representation
Their skills of diplomacy 'deficiencies' were thankfully contrasted by some wonderful photography here!😊
Illogical statement
Getting all defensive about the lavish offices snide charity taking the piss.. shambles
They spend a lot of the money they receive on non charitable projects, such as fancy head offices.
There you go. Shows charity corruption. They need to spend all the money on themselves. You would think a Charity would need all the promotion they can get.
so charities spend money on other things rather than what the charity is set up for , confirming what I always thought
He heard CZcams, all he could think of was, oh he's a conspiracy theorist🤣😂🤣
"We have to spend the profits or they're taken away?" Well here's an idea, maybe reduce the rents?
A charity with "profit" sounds suspicious as hell to me
@wotzcheez well there are lots of them. Officially they're call not for profit but they have to have enough reserves to look after staff and pay redundancy if needed.
@grahamreeve5209 I mean end of everything profit. So staff paid bills paid no more outgoings. Surely they should have what ever left they don't need go to who ever it is they are supposed to be helping.
Ever since I started looking into charity salaries, some time ago, was the time I stopped ALL donations. They have people working their arses off for free, to raise funds but sit in their ivory towers with fat salaries. Scammers. I used to hold the RNLI in high esteem-- not now. From what I have seen on south coast they are not worth a light. Not a penny more to any charity - ever.
@wotzcheez well I worked for a charity aimed at helping people with substance abuse problems. I'm not sure giving them the leftover money would have been a good idea. Truth is there wasn't any money left over.
So you couldn’t use the money to help the people it’s meant for ? Oh noooo! Let’s spend big on offices! Wonder how much the CEO makes!
Awful way to represent a company.

We have to spend it on flash buildings and salaries, we can't have more than 10% profit 😮
It's funny how just because you pull a camera out and start filming.

Are they guilty of something??
2019 street view just a pile of dirt. The industrial estate was the hangers and buildings of RAF Greenham Commons 1942-1992 including (potentially) nuclear weapons. Greenham Commons airfield to the north made a public park in 1997 (and no drone restrictions). Sovereign Housing offices announced in 2020 the new hub office, 3 storey, 28,000 ft2 supporting local and remote staff. Great video and DJ tunes are the bomb! 💣🎶⭐⭐⭐👍
So instead of spending the extra profit on charity like they are supposed to, they spend it for themselves? Right...please someone look into this.
Dj with the rare bonus 8pm video upload
Those 2 aren't exactly a great representation for a charity are they. Very uptight incase you were trying to expose something which would lead me to think there must be something to expose.
I love it when DJ Audits send them back to work, always makes my day
They was already going back to work tho lol?
What's the conspiracy Steve? A rather odd statement off the cuff?
When security like that just try the smug smile, they are basically just admitting that they don't have a clue.

"Charities cant have too much money left over" well here is a radical idea. Why not take the extra money and give it to the people your "charity" helps?
Or donate it to another charity, food kitchen, etc, etc, etc.
I think most of DJs viewers are the same people who work in the factories he visits, everyone wants to see him rip the boss a new one
🤣🤣🤣🙌
They've had people round there doing citizen journalism into where the charity money is being spent.
Anything 'not for profit' just means that financial surpluses are distributed to the staff or spent on staff perks. It's a scam.
damn straight its a company and a charity.
Weird energy around that company, very few positives to take out of that encounter. Anyway…
I know someone who works for a bereavement charity, and it's true, they have to spend all the money that's been allocated to them or they won't receive the same amount or more the next fiscal year, you find in all these companies they have a mad rush at the end of the fiscal year to locate spare funds and waste them on whatever they can think of
I love how you deal with people lol you manage them well
I like how he's lowered his voice in tone and volume. Let the goofs be the angry, loud ones.
I Love this channel 💯. I pray you come to Norwich one day I want to find the keyring 😂😂👍🏼
Did I hear that right? "Do you know how charities work?" And then go on to explain in as many words that surplus money has to be spent on extravagant and luxurious premises to meet regulations. In a nutshell everything that is wrong with charity status.
Did he just say that the 'charity' built an extra nice building to use up surplus charitable income??
Why not spend it on the sharp end....housing?
Hahahahaha the guy trying to take a photo
So instead of using funds to make their tenants lives better they build an office just to make themselves comfortable with nice modern offices.
With all the negative comments about the foolish H & S guy and his totally stupid remarks about charities and spending money, I’d be surprised if he keeps his job there.

Miserable spelling
@@jimmy23456 🤣🤣🤣 At least s/he's not as illiterate as YOU, numpty!
what a strange way to run a charity ! if we dont waste at least 10 % of the money we lose it ! so we have to build huge buildings worth millions of £ or we would have to use that on the charity
Dj audits I found your vids on fb enjoyed watching them subscribed on here keep it up
My local housing association is the same, nice offices, bad maintained houses. I can believe that can spend up to 10%, but not have to spend 10%.
Yes they make this money off the backs of the Tenants. But won’t reduce the rents
So they have Posh offices and inflated wages
I used to be a tenant of theirs so know plus Newbury is my home town
I wonder if a charity makes "too much money" they could spend the surplus on the good cause they're representing instead of on themselves... wouldn't that be a novel way to get back below the 10%
Illogical statement
@@jimmy23456 YOU really are dense, aren't you? 💩
They don't want you to see that they are using storage containers as part of the construction.
Give to charity to do good and they spend it on plush offices for their staff.

Interesting, DJ. That guy's flippant attitude re charities confirms why I gave up giving money to charity decades ago. Much corruption/fraud/wastage of funds exists in the charity sector - and it's getting worse.
PS. Just my personal opinion, but I don't care for the music/songs at the end. First couple OK but now I don't bother listening. Quite clever, though just contrived ditties really. But I guess they are popular with others.

It's a pity that housing associations would rather spend the grants they get on high end offices than maintaining their housing stock. I'm a residential landlord who's ploughed almost a million pounds into property. Most of my houses are over 100 years old and in better condition than many 20-50 years old housing association properties in the same area.
DJ with people like that representing the company. then we want to see it visited multiple times by different auditors
His statement is the very reason to research any charity to see what percentage actually goes towards the causes and what part goes towards administration and fundraising. A good score should be above 85%, but preferably 90% and above on the cause. For example, here in the states, we have Tunnels to Towers Foundation that supports 9/11 families and other first responders/soldiers that have been injured or killed, their percentage is above 95%. Can’t just blindly support charities.
Spend the money on more houses and not on flash office and vans
Did he just admit to defrauding either the Tax Man or the Charities Commission? Not to mention over charging their customers.
As I suspected all the places are dodgy money making schemes that cost the Tax Payer millions.
So they make sure its all the best for them and may be all on a good wage before they help anyone ????????
