How & Where to catch Big Sea Bass. Seabass Fishing Ireland.(2020).

  • Seabass fishing tips 🎣🎣, based on my own experience of fishing for sea bass with lures. I was lucky enough to catch some fantastic sea bass lately, here on the Irish Coast. Sea Bass fishing in Ireland can be tricky at times, but when the conditions are right and all the factors add up to be in a chance of catching a Big Seabass on lures, there is a certain way I approach my fishing. I go for spots that are rocky, difficult to access spots, ideally with a beach nearby. The rocks should have a series of channels and rocks submerged underwater, where the sea creates a lot of water movement, ideally some white water, causing smaller baitfish, and other saltwater creatures to get confused, making it an easier target for those large Seabass (Dicentrarchus Labrax).
I tried to share some of this approach here in the video, that approach doesn't apply to each type of fishing ground, but some of this advice is transferrable to any type of bass fishing grounds. Let me know in the comments what did you think about the video, do you agree or disagree, let me know your experiences and any feedback you might have. I hope my experiences gained during my seabass outdoors adventures will help you guys.
Also, I welcome you to take part in the giveaway, as announced in the video. Big thanks to Favorite Fishing for supplying the rod and shout out to them and their new website en.favorite-fishing.com/ where you can now buy gear directly for home delivery.

No fish that day but it looks like it should hold bass, it's rough rocky ground and there's a very fast tide outside casting range so you would imagine there will be eddies and bass waiting in ambush. I'm really looking forward to this summer and will make sure to get out as much as possible :) Thanks for the videos they are really great and helped give me some much needed motivation.

thanks a fine goal you set yourself, best of luck. There are nice bass being caught around you and down south just a bit, but they're not as plentiful as the south coast of Ireland. If you were to be in the best chance, you probably should go down south for a couple of days around spring tides, ideally during a period of settled weather. Shallow reefs, rocks next to beaches with water not too deep, are their typical feeding grounds as are estuaries. there are litellary thousands of great spots around, but you still need to put the time to find them, as they never stay in one spot for too long

That was an excellent upload, with lots of very sound advice. Working the edges is so important; so many times have I seen a Bass swim past me only a metre or two from the shore. Standing well back from the edge, walking gently and having a cast well back when you arrive can often bag a nice one that is feeding close in.
