Hello Candus, how would it work if employee uses all sick pay. Trying to figure out if it would deduct the correct amount from a salary employee on a semi-monthly pay setup
Hi Erik,
It depends if they're accruing it for the pay period or if they're getting it all upfront. Make sure to add another line for sick pay and it will automatically adjust the salary hours on the paycheck.

Thank you very much for posting this video as it was very helpful! If I were to use the time format in minutes vs decimal, would it still be 0:02:00 on each hour with the new law? (I was using that amount prior to 2024.) Thank you!
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out.
I'm sorry we're just now responding to your comment!
Yes. The amount might have not changed, but the time they accrued might have.

We started the sick/vacation accrual process in the middle of February (hours earned by pay period). If someone earned 16 vacation hrs (but used 20 vacation hrs when we set it up), then is the available vacation time set at -4 hrs on the setup date?
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out.
Yes, if you allow them to use it before they accrue it.
