What percent chance do you guys give Hafhtor Bjornsson of doing the 501kg? The backstage footage was found only a few weeks ago - and although this is a tale told already the discovery of Eddie with the paramedic's desperately attending to him was a surprise to us. Enoy8 and - and we wish Hafthor the best of luck with his brave attempt.

Hafhtor Bjornsson is a very strong deadlifter, Eddie said that he has never lifted more in his gym than 454kg, and Hafhtor lifted 470kg without "andrenaline rush", he has a very big chance, but even if he lift it, a mother that sees her childrens under the car will be stronger!😂 (I hope that Hafhtor will lift the 501kg)

If Thor gets 501kg it won't be anywhere near as memorable as Eddie's 500kg. It doesn't matter who pulls more, this was the first time someone did it. Eddie STARTED the half-a-ton-club and since no-one ever thought he could do it, it just makes this lift an extraordinary moment in the sports history. There was always something magical/mythical about 500kg. If Thor lifts it too and joins the club that will be fantastic and he will have his own moment, in history but that doesn't take anything away from what Eddie did and what he risked to do it. I wonder how many men will join the half-a-ton-club over the next 10 years? I'm going to enjoy finding out :)
