  • How I installed a 110V Servo Motor on my Singer 111W101.
Turned out to be a lot simpler than I expected it would be.
Link to the servo motor I used in the video.

Hey, I'm the first person to view this. Informative video man.

Kind of wanted to see how it handled thick material and how the slow speed control was on those.

I feel it does really well in both these areas. I'm still a novice on industrial machines so I am still learning how to feather the pedal on this machine.
Made a quick video demonstrating sewing thick material. Did 8 layers of heavy duty vinyl tarp with no issues.

I just bought the same machine and table and I plan on ordering the same motor. Do you know what size belt you have? I wanted to order one so it gets here at the same time as the motor.
Thanks a bunch for the videos!

No idea on belt size. I got a bunch of them with the machine so I just tried them until one fit. You can get some leeway by adjusting the angle of the motor. I also think there are belts that can be cut to size and then connected with a metal clip. That's what the one I'm using is.
