The System is an American synthpop duo consisting of vocalist/guitarist Mic Murphy and seasoned session keyboardist David Frank. The band was founded in 1982 in New York and backed up by Paul Pesco on electric guitar and Kris Khellow - keyboards, synthesizers. Sometimes the group is referred to as an "emotio-electro" band because of their hi-tech, synthesizer-driven sound mated to passionate vocals and sensitive lyrics.

I love how every song in this album is gold. This definitely would give Bad a run for it's money.

This great jam was produced in 1989... sounds ahead of its time.

I hate that this album didn't finally solidify the System's place as one of the best funk projects in America. It's the best produced and best sounding album in their perfect 5 album run from 83-89

Jacob Wallingford It sure does and reminds me of 1999 a little bit too. Man, they had jams and I don't recall them playing this on the radio at all. This is banging!!
