- Michele Graglia has run over 20 ultra marathons--races that exceed 100 miles and test the limits of the human mind and body. In this talk, Michele describes the life-changing moment when he took that first step into the unknown and all that he's learned as he has journeyed throughout the world, pushing his limits in pursuit of his passion. Michele Graglia is a model, author, fitness coach, and ultra marathon runner. His book Ultra was published by Sperling & Kupfer in May 2017. Originally from Taggia, Liguria, Italy, Graglia became an international model represented by Major Model Management in New York and the now defunct Irene Marie Model Management in Miami, FL, where he was initially discovered. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
Who's here to checkout this beast who beat Goggins?
Me! 👌
WHOS GONNA CARRY THE BOATS? AND THE LOGS? For real tho, Michele is a BEAST
Haha
Yup!
This guy is superhuman no doubt. But he has a typical build of marathon and ultramarathon runners. Pretty skinny and therefore light on his feet.
Goggins on the other hand is more muscular and much heavier. He is also super strong - beating the pull up world record. I don't want to take anything away from this guy, but Goggins is literally supernatural for managing to combine strength, muscles and long distance running abilities all in one person.
Awesome story... I've found myself falling in love with running and meditation.
congratulation to the MOAB 240, 1 place!!! As far as i saw you stopped for 2 hours in whole...unbelievable!
did he not stop to sleep too?
I expected less and got so much more...amazing, living story!
I was so much inspired by Michele from Folco Terzani s book that I started to train myself for running, I ran a half marathon and my knees were breaking into pieces... I couldnt walk for a week afterthat. It certainly worth it, and after seeing people doing ultramathon I am sure that this is not the limit. Forza Michele. beyond.
Is the book available in English - Amazon only has the Italian version
