Alan you’re correct we have had timely updates from the Force family on John Forces recovery! Thank them for that for keeping his fans and drag racing family informed.
The long road to recovery for TBI/brain injuries that John Force is something that drag racing has not experienced as well!
Coming from someone that has had multiple TBI all mild to moderate. Not moderate to severe such as John Force has had, is not something that he will be better within a few weeks and maybe not for years, if ever!
Example; if he’s lost short term memory he may get better with it or may never get that back! Do you need short term memory when driving, absolutely yes! Whether it be a car on our roads or a race car.
Example; his raging bull anger. We can laugh about it, but TBI injuries are known for anger issues and no filter when speaking. One minor thing can happen or be said and it sets them off and you can be told off.
TBI people walking down the sidewalk look normal as nothing is wrong with them at all. It’s not like a broken bone that has healed up and the cast is removed.
A lot of things we in everyday life take for granted that comes so easy, now will be a major challenge for John Force. Language and speech maybe an issue.
Long road most differently yes in John Forces recovery and one the drag racing field has not experienced.
Just saying from my experience and expertise of 50 plus years having gone through it.
I wish John and family the VERY BEST in the future.
My deepest condolences to the Janke family. 🙏💜🙏💜🙏

The problem with people is that they want instant gratification on any circumstances. People have no patience. They need to know now, have it now, be physically immerse in it themselves.

Sounds like my easy in and out might get messed up with the new entrance, but I'm definitely excited about the renovation, especially the pro pits.

I've got to tell you, Allen has great insight about the sport. If you pay attention, you'll learn something.

Do we know if Robert Height is ready to return? That would solve everything, Robert finishes John’s season and Austin stays in Roberts car.

That would be the ideal situation, but we will have to wait and see…..

And possibly everyone wants to be the first to give that information, and we don't need any false information flying around because there's enough already out there.

Brings up the question, "John could not reach the lever? Or was he unconscious? Or body blew up too high to reach?

    • @55mjlangdon
      @55mjlangdon Před 13 dny

Lever is not on the body it’s on the chassis. I think he was unconscious.

Case by case based is part of the problem with NHRA!! Some team get special treatment and not others get treated the same way!! Big problem!!!
