Nice video. Would be nice to see more wet fly fishing content in the future.

I have fished spiders for fifty years and tied them as well. Lovely way to fish.

Why can't you get away with a weighted fly in summer? I'm brand new to fly fishing this year caught two on lures but I'm trying to understand wet flies

Hi! You defenately can use weighted flies all summer, it all comes down to at what depth the fish are feeding. But during summer there are a lot of insects hatching, so the activity near or on the surface is often high. // Henrik GL

Our Guideline LPX Tactical 9'9'' #4 or #5 depending on river conditions. The extra 9" are really useful when it comes to line control and mendings during the drift/swing.

What rod set up are you using ?

Hi Stephen! I think Mike was using the LPX Tactical 9'9" #3, together with the Fario CDC line and Halo reel //GL-Team
