I found your recent work- 'Renewed Roots' the most fascinating. It was good to see how you creatively used your old paintings to create a new one. Also, I would like to see more videos on compositional paintings of daily life scenes such as marketplaces, busy streets, etc.
The very start of your video, I learned a tip about putting a bit of water on the front of the canvas to tighten it a bit. I do that to the back of stretched canvasses but had not thought of doing the front of a panel. I love the mushroom forest painting. It reminds me of a magical place, where everything is ok with the world, no stresses to deal with. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

My favorite is misty forest. I’ve painted it multiple times and love how each time comes out different. I learn something new it seems every time I watch it
My favorite video lesson would be the mushroom forest one. Absolutely loved it. I plan on painting one like it very soon. I would like to see more nature paintings in the future also maybe some paintings of just the sky? Like blue skies with white clouds? I struggle with clouds so much and I wanna try doing more simple but realistic ones. ❤
Understand the pain I struggle with clouds too and the way he makes it look so easy is a little discouraging to say the least
It is hard to just choose one. I really enjoyed the sea turtle lesson. I love watching the longer detailed videos. I feel I learn a lot from them . I’d love to learn more about sea scapes, but anything you teach is appreciated and beautiful. Thank you! 🎨

Love your tutorials! My favorite is the winter scene with the train coming around the bend with smoke billowing out of the engine stack. A challenge to paint but so happy how it turned out thanks to your instructions!
Anywhere I can find water and forests, I am at my happiest. That makes this video class high on my list of favorites. I tend to gravitate to scenes of oceans, rivers, and lakes and would love to see more!

My favourite tutorial is "Sunset Over Ocean with Dock", I absolutely love this one. It has to be hands down my favourite. Love all the blending and colours in it. I would love to see more animals and rain scenes. Love your work!
Your tutorials got me started during the pandemic and I am still learning and still painting!! My favorite was the train lesson because it was the only painting I did that my father (who lived with us) ever asked to keep for himself. He passed away at age 97 but the picture still hangs in his old bedroom. It reminded him of the old black smoke engines that used to pass his home as a child during the Great Depression.
I loved the magical forest, I love to read fantasy and this took me away while painting it. I would love to see more ethereal paintings.
My favorite that I have tried painting was the tulip flower. That was so much fun painting. It’s hanging up in my living room where it receives the best compliments. I’d like to see more water painting tutorials in the future. Thanks for bringing your inspiration to us all!

I’ve benefited from every tutorial’s process of painting a background (sky gradients, clouds, etc). My favorite is Foggy Birch Trees. I’ve typically been good at foreground, but these make painting backgrounds so much more dynamic! I would like to see more smaller canvas, short-form videos (
1. My favorite tutorial you’ve done is Snowy Train. I actually tried it myself for practice and…Yeah… a lot harder than it looks 😂.
2. What I’d like to see more of on you channel in the future is maybe some fall paintings. Like a pumpkin patch or maybe a scarecrow in a cornfield. I sure you could make some beautiful scenes out of such ideas.
It’s hard to choose a favorite but one of my all time favorites had to be the sailboat. I struggle with structures but this one felt so fluid for me. I would love to see you paint more desert landscape paintings.

You are an excellent teacher. Your instructions are so clear and you show ALL of the steps (many don’t). I love the forest, water , sky, clouds…all the nature paintings! The first painting of yours I attempted was “Red Poppies.” While I’ve learned so much having done several of your tutorials in the past 3 years, this one remains my favorite. 1. This river forest is my favorite tutorial you have. Blues are my favorite colours and they ar complimented so naturally with the green tones. I’m a mountain, forest, river lover. Growing up in Alberta we have so much landscape that looks like this and it’s incredibly calming.
2. Would love to see more tutorials on how to paint things such as fog and rays of light. It looks easy enough but when you actually go to put it into practise I find I struggle with it.
I’ve been a follower of yours since the beginning and have also enjoyed watching your family grow and your move down to warmer climates.

Mine came out fairly different, only one butterfly and my purple flowers are milk thistle which is very common in my area. CONGRATULATIONS ON 1 MILLION SUBS! My favorite lesson was the Cave with the light beams. It was back in the beginning of my painting journey. I would like to see some shorter lessons available. I love the longer lessons, but I am not able to paint as much as I would like. Having a shorter lesson available gives a larger selection on time needed.

The sailboat sunset is my absolute favorite. I painted something kind of similar after I watched it and my painting hangs at my father's house. Anything nature for future paintings, landscapes, sunsets and moons.

I love your tutorials. The way you’re so imaginative with colors and it comes out astonishing every time. Watching your videos helped me hope to paint clouds in the sky!
The favorite tutorial that you have done in my opinion is the sailboat with the sun. I use it as my wallpaper on my cellphone. I would like to see more lessons regarding color choices and how you decide the colors and shades to use. Also, are there times when it is better to allow the paints to dry before putting on a second layer and times when it is best to paint when the base layer is still wet.
An oldie but a goldie my favourite lesson was how to paint fireworks, i followed along with that one recently.

I have been loving all the techniques you show, especially the blending. I am new to acrylic painting beyond simple application, so I thoroughly enjoy the way you show dry brush vs wet brush application, the different types of brushes and what they can do, and your calm voice adds to the learning experience, it makes me maintain a calm, even when I feel I’m not doing as well as I’d like to be doing. I would love to see more of the variety of brushes, pens, and tools that you use. Especially for sealing different types of creations. ❤
