- After announcing his retirement from international strongman competitions, we thought it would be unforgivable not to pay tribute to his unforgettable career.
We played this video to 10,000 strongman fans in Leeds Arena, at Europe's Strongest Man 2024...It's safe to say, there was not a dry eye in the room.
With over two decades of stellar performances, including 18 appearances at World’s Strongest Man, Mark has exhibited his prowess to the point where he's viewed by the masses as The Miracle Man.
Do not fear, he's not going anywhere, and will stay on the English Strongman scene with the same impressive feats of strength for many years to come. His next appearance is at England's Strongest Man 2024, on June 22nd at York Barbican Theatre.

Mark started strongman at the age when most competitors were retiring, he soon rose to the top flight and continued to stay there for 20 years retiring from the top flight when most men struggle to rise from their armchairs, but for me he was an inspiration. As someone who is 4 days younger than mark I still enjoy going to the gym and being healthy thanks to Mark!!!
Legend is thrown around alot but mark is truly the meaning of the word always constant always trying and consistency and longevity an amazing man all round

Tears my heart up. I've been watching Mark Felix for so long and especially after just saying goodbye to Terry Hollands and Brian Shaw, it's difficult to digest that all these guys with such amazing longevity are calling it a day but damned if Mark doesn't have so much to be proud of. That run of smashing every deadlift for reps event, even besting a prime Marius Pudzianowski and then his dominance in grip events clear into the last couple of years, that's something truly incredible fans of Strongman won't forget. Not to mention just knowing and understanding that he is a truly compassionate and stand up guy by literally everyone's admission. This might actually be harder than seeing Big Tel call it a day because at least with Terry, he'd tried it once before. Got to say, probably the hardest retirement since Magnus Samuelsson for this guy.
Godspeed on the next leg of your journey in life, Mark. You really are a Legend.

No older people in the world can use any excuse that they are too old to work out, or to lift heavy!!!! I use Mark Felix as a prime example in my gym I coach at, as an example for of their"im too old" excuses!!!

Mark Felix definitely deserves this and more. At his age he held his own against competitors half his age. He's the reason I continue to lift heavy and will not stop the deadlifts.
With his grip, he should consider arm wrestling
