Your model Truck came out great! Very nice work. I've built 2 of these, and ran across a big problem with both kit,s!! The hood,s need plenty of fabrication if you want them to open and function properly.

I finally found thus kit for sale at a reasonable price. I too will paint it blue. I love your model and hope to produce one as good as yours. I am looking for the Revell kit that has a dump trailer with the truck. It's not chromed like this one. Found one on the UK eBay website but the man didn't want to ship it to the US. Oh well. Thanks.
Nice one! Its a fun, but fiddly! I think I got it in TK Maxx(TJ Maxx for you) for about €35/$40. Best of luck with your build, would love to see how you got on with it

It's a Revell 07406 - I paid €40 but it seems to be more pricey now..

The newspaper is distracting some plain brown paper will direct the viewer to your build and not the newspaper.

Your overall work is way too good not to also sand, fill and clean up all the seams and mold lines and pin marks.
I should really have tried harder. Probably too impatient and had to finish it... Next time.. 👍
