Kelker Substation Expansion: Why is it needed?

The purpose of the Kelker Substation expansion project is to protect future components of the substation, improve operational flexibility and increase reliability through the addition of new equipment.
This work is necessary to retire the downtown Martin Drake Power Plant and reach our goal of reducing carbon emissions by 80% by 2030.
