I love seeing NL give a detailed analysis of the SAP weekly meta and then completely disregard any and all advice he gave in a matter of minutes
He's still significantly better than me, but I have to get my licks in for what he does to me every time I take part in the casino
Man can only lead others to a treasure he cant possess.
I follow his advice and it helps me win because I don't have that half of NL's brain that accuses the first half of making shit up.
To be fair the first run had horrible shops

Wasp is really underrated. The game it selfs has so many health buffs and 2 level wasp allways gets to 50 attack. So easy to scale with scampi
Yeah every Time i get a wasp round 3 I can get it to 50/50 by round 11 cus I usually get 50/25 or sketching by round 9, buy a lollipop and bam
I think some people give it too much fried shrimp. That's what I was doing.
Every time I took a wasp it was the last time I've ever seen one. It's like they erase the wasp out of existence. But when I don't take one I get like every roll a wasp so I've given up on it.

I assume NL internalized his loss as "I shouldn't have invested in Emperor Tamarin" instead of "I shouldn't have saved two spaces on my team for two 2-3 shrimps when I wasn't buying or selling."
The frog run.
I don't... I don't have anything else to say. I can't *possibly* say anything else. The entire run just had me in stitches as soon as I saw the third frog. Heck, I saw it and immediately said, out loud, "Well, you HAVE to take it," and then NL's like "I know I shouldn't but a part of me feels like you HAVE to take it"

My strategy to win is literally just scale stats on any units early by feeding the right most unit broccoli while buffing it with moths and a second identic unit behind with scampi and stick with them and pivot mostly only for white tiger and seal or moose plus sabertooth. Maybe a skunk for good measure.
Also dogs are obviously broken early.
I do brocolli shrimp on 2 copies of a unit at the start

Actually it's best not to put your healthiest unit at the far right in the beginning. Everyone is using moths so it's unlikely that you can survive the hit, and plus you won't need much attack for the rest of their units.
It's best to put a unit with low hp at the far right so the moth buffs it and it oneshots their healthiest unit. Then all you lost was a temp-buffed 1-2 but your opponent loses their strongest friend and your beefy unit can mop up
@@ninjacell2999 well you can only get so many moths, if you get a few broccolis you will usually trade 2for1 . But if the moth strategy picks up more may be i will put a frog between the scampi and the broccoli unit and snipe the first unit like that
The unsung hero of the game 2 flawless was the frog that jump started the wasps career.

I’ve had a quite a few 10-wins from very late game pivots, like round 11 onwards, solely by going for level 2 white tiger coupled with lionfish + something like shark at the back. That way my back two units are sorted, and I can focus just on my front two. Level 3 lionfish is so strong.
I think the walrus beats a lionfish by far but the white tiger is obviously goated
@@osgrace3341 Walrus is also really strong, personally I haven't found it as effective because it means you need to put them at the front.

NL sees the joy of Frog-Wasp. Frog has become my fixation in this game. Built a whole custom deck around it. Frog-Waps, Frog-Ox are key.
My only problem is that I have never gotten a level 3 frog to do anything. Turns out it's just better if you sell it at level 2.

Anyone else feel like that was a massive waste of a level 3 emperor tamarind? Like he coulda had a huge anything out of nothing, but instead he consolidated his most statted unit with a unit which was already statted like 16-24 so it just melted the 9-10 yak that he just combined to make a 17-25 yak with garlic.

Can be quite good even without clownfish/jellyfish. Upgrading your skunk, hawk, lion, walrus, sabretooth can be huge.
