I'm a Drug Court Investigator and we would rather someone be offended and not have drugs then to not investigate and drugs make it through and take more lives. If you ever have a child pass away in your arms from a drug overdose you may understand why we will do anything we can to stop the drug trade. Just because they didn't find drugs on this gentleman doesn't mean he didn't have any. Drug readings were detected so the officers had every right to investigate.
Sadly this isn’t what’s killing people. It’s poor decision making. I’m 5 yrs clean I decided to live. My brother died carfentynal overdose. It’s easy to not die using drugs. Don’t use!!

I am in the US. We have a mess of problems with this!
Problem with what drugs? I live outside the US and I travel across international borders frequently, i've seen the borders and airports wide open at times, its almost like they want an amount of drugs to enter to keep the game going and keep the people employed.
I think it must be horrible to suspect everyone.

My Granddaughter threw up with her pregnancy too, they had to give her medicine to stop it. I did the same thing, only I never took anything to stop it. I lost about 20 lbs,when that was going on.

Never answer questions, be calm, polite and silent. Invite them to conduct their investigation. Remember, they view you as guilty until proven innocent
I applaud those who are working to keep dangerous people and drugs from the UK.

Here in Germany, the customs authorities are on a par with the police. This means that customs officers, as employees of a protective authority, also have police powers within their boundaries. Customs officers are not civilians. I assume that it will be no different in other countries.
So in my opinion, the nurses did everything right, as this was an official investigation.
Customs and immigration officers are considered part of law enforcement 🙄

Would it be an idea to only accept peoplle who carry ID ? The rest can be sorted and returned to their country of departure-they tell where they lived so that's their home. No trusting them to report weekly. Just a thought

It's ridiculous how disappointed they get to not be able to arrest people. They want to get that arrest no matter if the person is innocent or not.
It's because of the massive amount of drugs being smuggled in and killing countless people from overdoses. I'm a Drug Court Investigator and we would rather someone be offended and not have drugs then to not investigate and drugs make it through and take more lives. Maybe if you had a child pass away in your arms from a drug overdose.

Is slightly pregnant, is a proof of significant physical foetus that determines whether that on top of criminal charges of swallowing/carrying illigal drugs within her body, ADDITIONAL CHARGES IS JUSTIFY FOR ABUSING ARMING A VIABLE FOETUS.
I don't know the law but that's my opinion of how and why they would come up with such definition because the foetus is VIABLE, therefore its definition in there law in their country is A LIFE. 🤔👍

It’s possible that suitcases can be contaminated from other suitcases or boxes in the luggage bay.
@@bonniehowell6604 Or maybe by some baggage handlers in the airports. I saw a documentary in which an airport baggage handler was moving a bag with drugs in it from an international flight to a domestic flight cart in Miami just in the field before the luggage got to the building, in this case, the baggage was not to go through the custom for inspection. He was arrested, he was working with drug cartels.
A lot of those customs employees seem pretty low class.

Of course they do. They have chosen to spend their work time on something. If that comes up false then they have wasted time they could have been investigating a genuine hit and it will have been an inefficient use of their time. You sound very naive. Do you think they all stand around when they get a false hit and hug each other happy that the person was innocent? No they will be disappointed. All jobs have a purpose and a way of measuring efficiency. Theirs will be to get as many hits as they can.
