- This will work on newer bikes too. 2014+. YAMAHA WIRE CONNECTORS - I FOUND SOME YAMAHA PIN CONNECTORS! I made an ebay auction so you can just buy them there. I made the whole wire assembly, all put together so you don't have to worry about crimping/building the connector setup yourself. Hey know where I can get a trail tech stator for 2018 yz450f
I built a system that was mounted like that. It was 70W and 6000 lumens, had to do my own wiring. I would warn you to watch the brake line, I found that when the forks get compressed the brake line hits the bracket and bends the line in a way that it isn't supposed to bent. I am waiting on a longer front brake line to come in so I can route it differently before I put the light back on.

It seems to work good with the 8w ledlight and a 15 fuse between but now i have the problem when i turn the light off the hole bike shuts uff
Can you use an 8w ledlight dont you need to put a fuse between ore something ?
I also have a YZ450F so i can run this light with the bikes stock parts, i wont need to upgrade anything just plug and play. The bike will run fine ye ?

How are you getting your airbox set up on the reversed Yamaha? I just bought a 14 yz450f and don't know which direction to go to get it set up for the snow.
You don't need a relay or anything like that to run the light or does it just plug directly into the diagnostic port? Also does the mounting kit include the light itself too? And lastly do you think a 2016 Yz250f could run this system (it has a diagnostic port) The stator on this bike put outs about 40w. A reply would be much appreciated.

Hi how's the bike doing these days with the lights? Any issues running off of the bike's power? I'm thinking of doing the same for my 2016 yz450f. I've just checked the manual which says AC magneto output is 14v, 95w which = 6amps. I assume that the lights need to be switched off when kick starting the bike?
