CORRECTION: THIS IS A LOOSE-WET AVALANCHE. Glide avalanches are in the spring when the entire snowpack comes down the mountain and they're big and dangerous. These loose-wet ones are very avoidable and not super dangerous... unless you're below them

I haven’t lost one since doing this. The newer GoPros are harder to tether but I’ve figured ways to make it work. Losing one sure sucks
@@jethro450 you got that right I’m out of my garage problem-solving that issue right now. I think those GoPro come with a little red strap as well. I’m sure that’s what it’s for. I’m gonna use that smaller strap in the hinge area of the battery door. I don’t use the battery anyway. Or I’ll buy another case for it thanks for your video

I haven’t. 2s is plenty for little track so we’ve never messed with that. I found that 3s heats things up too quick and breaks drive shafts easier

You don’t have to go back to nimh mode. Run it lipo mode if you’re running lipos, and nimh mode for nimh

Great video. Detailed and informative. I have a quick question. I’m just curious if you may know what could cause my Rustler 4WD to stop popping wheelies!?! I’ve adjusted the shipper clutch and still no wheelies. Is there anything with what you did here in this video with the clutch assembly, etc., that could be the culprit to stopping the wheelies. PLMK if you may have any thoughts or insights. Trying to get my grandson’s truck up and running. Also, did you put any grease or oil on the bearings and shaft during reassembly? Thank you for the video and your time. 😎🙏🏼
No grease or oil. The bearings are sealed so that wouldn’t do any good unless you took the seal off. As for the “no wheelie”. My best guess is something is slipping or stripping somewhere. Wheel hub, differential, spur gear/pinion, slipper clutch… missing or broken pin on an axle. Weak or old battery. That’s just a few guesses

Did you fix the cylinder or did you buy a new one. I am rebuilding a rmz450 now and the cylinder got minor scratches.
Bought a new cylinder. If the scratches are deep enough that they can’t be honed out, gotta replace or repair it
My son's rustler rear tyres are wobbly. How to fix it??
A weak point on my rustler is the front caster block.

Richardknows doesn’t know 😂 You must live in an area that doesn’t have basements, I’m guessing high water table area. Windows wells are required for houses with basements as a way of escape in case of fire. You have windows in the basement rooms and on the outside… well, you see what it looks like in the video. It’s a hole in the ground with a metal wall, like an in ground retaining wall. Great place for small animals to fall into and not be able to get out like skunks, we’ve had a couple of them fall in there too.
Hey, at the point in your video when you start talking about the sloppy toe and suspension push rod links and how when you said it wasn’t any better to get the Traxxas aluminum links- well, from what I found out on my stepsons e Revo 1/16, the reason why those don’t seem to last very long is because Traxxas puts them cheap plastic hollow balls inside the rod ends so hopefully those expensive aluminum Traxxas toe links or suspension push rods you bought, you didn’t throw those away because you can go on the Traxxas parts page for these cars and for just a couple bucks, you can buy a package of 20 steel replacement hollow balls that will work in the cheap red plastic non-adjustable links and even in the Traxxas aluminum links.

I bought a new phase 4 on black Friday, I had a paint chip in the riser and haven't shot other than sighting it in due to waiting to see if mathews was going to do anything. Well 6 months and nothing back from the place I got it from. Called another authorized dealer and they said they would try and help. I pulled the bow back before I went , well just because I wanted to. Went to let it down and I think the let off is so great that the string is able to roll off the cam and I had the same exact thing happen to me. Luckily there was no damage. The bow has maybe 50 arrows ran through it . I thought I ruined my new bow over that malfunction.
some great tips (lot of stuff I agree with, have the same exact same 2s and 3s lipos and lot of the upgrades) can't believe anyone uses body posts clips, the velcro mod was the very first mod I did kinda shame I don't run my mini much....since I got the big revo few years later I run mostly that one (would probably be different if I had a small track in my backyard ;o) I have the castle 1406 big block conversion + sidewinder 1/10 esc, hitec servo and few other upgrade pars - aluminium shocks and steel push rods and toe links, rpm knucles, extended rear arms and proline trencher 2.2 tires....and a spektrum radio (anything is better than traxxas, maybe the newer ones are not as bad as they were 10 years ago) if you run in wet/snow you need closed cell tire inserts which do not suck up water, sadly they are maybe hard to get now, proline and other companies used to sell them but discontinued them, I have a box full of them as I was buying all different ones I could find trying to match different tires (I have like 4 boxes of different truck and buggy wheels and tires and closed cells) how did you do the front to center skidplate mod? is it just drilled through and use a nut and scew? never seen that one but it makes a lot of sense....chassis flex and as a result bulkhead flex and diff misalignment always have been a weak point on both revos (big and small) honestly I don't know why it's just one screw holding the halves together, if it would have 2 screws it would help remedy the issues a lot imo

Can I run a 15/54 with 3s for offroading? I just got the Rustler Ultimate and I'm just not satisfied with the 40 mph out of the box. I've got dual fans and heat sink for the motor and a fan for the esc. Would that be enough to keep the 15/54 set up cool?
But a cheap temp gauge and try it. That’s what I do. I haven’t ran that setup so I’m not sure but I have noticed my rustlers get more hot than most my other rc’s. In general, I try to gear my stuff and use whatever batteries it takes to keep both the esc and motor under 150 degrees. The lower the better. Go over 150 and they don’t last as long. Go over 200 and they die really fast. 90-120 seems to be the sweet spot

I have the lift 29.5. I have let the bow down dozens of times without any issues. The bow shoots great and it is so quiet. Maybe you hit your release by accident? Sorry that happened to you, I know how upsetting that can be. I was skeptical about purchasing a lift due to the limbs being so thin, but I don't regret my purchase and absolutely love the bow.
