Cy-Fair ISD librarians learn about job cuts, reassignment

- The district is in a $38 million deficit. Officials said they have not seen an increase in funding in five years. Librarians and parents tell KPRC 2 Superintendent Douglas Killian held a meeting with the librarians at 3 p.m. on Friday. They learned about a proposed plan where many of the librarians could be removed and reassigned.
How are we supposed to live anymore? Everywhere is cutting jobs, cutting hours, pausing pay raises, and as the adults suffer, the children will suffer too.
If Abbott's school voucher bill passes, more layoffs will follow along with some public school closings it's not as if private schools will be able to employ all these people.
Are they not diverse enough?
