- After months of being at home and no way to get a haircut, I finally took a trip into the barbershop.

Since my birthday, 4/25/20... I’m doing a daily FLOG (farm + vlog) here on CZcams. I’m doing my best to make something and share it… EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. (...or as often as I can with a working farm to run, tv shows to make and a sweet little six-year-old to raise).

My sweet grandma had Alzheimer’s and her older sister was the only person who could cut her hair. Her sister passed away and my grandma waited for the rest of her life (6 years later) for her sister to cut her hair. She would say “Tell Nedra when you go to the fabric store today to come by and do my hair”

I loved this! My sweet husband passed away this January, and I was the only one he would let cut his hair. At one point when the barber was working on the front of your hair, I thought to myself, "Remember that technique!" Unfortunately I don't get to cut my darling husband's hair anymore. But I'm sure he's not only feeling good but lookin' good up there in heaven! Thank you for bringing back a sweet memory for me....and for the smiles!
So sorry about the loss of your husband. My fiance passed away 18 months ago.

It's so difficult to imagine life being happy or even "normal" again.....and I find watching Rory's videos gives me hope that happiness will eventually return. Until then I lean on God and put my faith in Him. God bless.

Any word from Rory? I watch for his Flogs almost daily but I have been super busy over the weekend. So when I sit down and hoped to find a few updated Flogs and notice there are none is concerning.

I’ve been cutting my husband’s hair for 36 years. He’s had probably three professional cuts. 😀 Enjoyed and looking forward to seeing the haircut!!

I used to cut all my family’s hair, but then I was injured & now can’t stand up for long periods. I love the way Joey cut your hair!!

Paula KyRed I’ve been tempted to pull the clippers out and start cutting mine. It’s curling in back, flys out from under my hat around my ears and I just can’t stand it!! It needed cut when all this mess began but since I was busy trying to find TP, I didn’t get to the barber shop before they closed everything.
Do the dang Governors not understand that barber shops and beauty salons are essential businesses? Do they not understand what happens to a persons mental health when their hair gets out of control and is touching regions it’s not meant to touch, or your old color may be so faded out that the real color of your roots are calling everyone’s attention like the landing lights at the local airport calling the 747 in to the runway at midnight!! Folks have been shot for much less than that!
I need my haircut soon Governor, please reopen everything!!! If it’s ok for the Mayor of Chicago to get her hair cut thats less than an inch long in the first place and you can’t tell anything got cut, then it ought to be safe enough for me to get mine cut and if I wasn’t so gray then I’d donate it to the locks of love program but they won’t accept it cause it doesn’t meet their color requirements!!!! The world has become a scary, crazy place but at least I can find peace and love and compassion on Rory Feeks CZcams channel, lol!!

I cut my husbands hair since he has been in a wheelchair...and since the pandemic I even cut the service dog's hair...neither is complaining, although I think Birdie is a bit embarrassed ..yes we have a dog named Birdie.My Dad who I lost 2 years ago was a old school Barber and had a shop that looked like Mayberrys. He had 1950s barber chairs old fashion cash register...
A dog named "Birdie".... that sure is cute. Wonder how he 🐕 got that name? 😂

I'm in Minnesota and our salons are closed till June 1st. I called our stylist and earliest we can get in is end of June. My poor hubby! We can almost give him a pony tail now!

The young lady who does mine works with her parents in their shop and her dad texted me as soon as they got word. Even pur governor here was looking shaggy. The young lady also told me some wonderful news she's expecting a little girl in October so I've contacted a friend and she is knitting her a blanket and little hat. Got to take care of my stylists.

Lol, I had to chuckle when this Flog popped up because I was on my way to get my hair cut. I remember you saying you were particular about your hair and I was wondering who was cutting it now. My Mum lives in Scotland and we video chat every Sunday. She hasn't been able to access a hairdresser for weeks. It's got so bad she won't use the video on our chats anymore.
