- In January 2009 here on the farm, Joey and I made a couple of homemade promotion videos for the upcoming season of "Can You Duet,"... the tv show that launched our music career the year before. They were funny and sweet moments in the barn, the yard, and the house... where Joey and I were clearly having fun with our new-found "fame."
PS: my sweet wife Joey was holding the camera, filming me... (snorting and laughing)

Since my birthday, 4/25/20... I’m doing a daily FLOG (farm + vlog) here on CZcams. I’m doing my best to make something and share it… EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. ...at least for a while.

Who just fell in love with Rory again, for the love in his eyes he has for his beautiful Joey. Best work done in the Loo in this house too.
It’s nice to hear that this man really loved his wife and it’s obvious how great they were together. You can see the love they have for each other. He raised children and on his own, that is awesome.

Rory, I still remember watching you and Joey on can you duet, there was nothing else on TV that night, I caught it just as Joey was giving the judges the sticky buns and from there, every album, every Joey + Rory show. That was a great eight years.

I was getting ready for bed. My sweet husband who would d always come get m out of the sewing room saying Deborah sue its almost ten oclock.yeah he would always thinking I should be in bed by 10 to stay healthy yet I'm the one left and the healthy one is already with our Lord. But i use to tell him that the dogs already started pawing at me whereas I said I have 15 More minutes. So I was smiling when I saw the clock at 10 then I thought I would check out your flog before going to sleep. Yep your happy was like our happy and it made me happy seeing your memories and thinking about my memories Thanks for bringing a smile to my face. Keep those flogs coming.

I'll admit it--when I first saw the title for today's blog I said Oh Lord and started laughing hysterically. You never fail to put a smile on face--which is a really good thing. BTW I first fell in love with y'all on Can You Duet. Personally, I think y'all should have won which might be the reason I didn't watch season two. I laughed at all your Carhartt swag. One of their lines is called Kalkaska, the small town in northern Michigan were I live. Our local retailer got a huge box of swag from them and donated it to the county fair for our raffle/auction. I was so stoked to have won it. Man, oh man! We got a camping chair, cups, travel mugs, notebooks, pens, tape measure, lantern, flash light, can koozies, two knit hats and two baseball caps, and even more I cannot remember. Carhartt rocks! We have a pair of overalls that my Dad bought for his first grandson who is now 32 years old. Nine grand kids and seven greats (one won't be able to wear them for a year or so) have worn them and they STILL look great.

Joey was such a beautiful soul with a beautiful voice and she was such an amazing wife and mother. Unfortunately God called her to heaven too early which breaks my heart for you both. I just want to say a "GREAT BIG THANK YOU" for sharing your story in these new Vlogs! They are so much fun and the love you and Joey shared is like no other. My Mom lived with my husband and me full time the last 8 years of her life. She passed at 89, 3 years ago Christmas Day. She was a great Mom and my best friend. We used to watch you both and she loved you and prayed for you both as much as I did. I still miss her every single day. Watching your Vlogs is another step in my healing process that happens each day, by the Grace Of God. I pray He continues to Bless your entire family.

That looks like my grandpa's truck. I would sit in it and pretend I was driving it as a child. My grandpa was a one arm man. He lost his arm as a ten year old boy hunting, but he could still drive and shift the gear shift. The soft giggles in the back ground, couldn't help but smile.
