  • Wall Sawing
    Wall sawing is the process of cutting openings in concrete walls such as for windows, doors and foundations. This type of concrete cutting requires skill and experience to cut perfectly smooth and level openings. We are proud to say we have the best wall sawing system on the market and it shows in our work. Wall sawing is a precision job and that is why we train and educate our team members in this field.

    • @mikewiththebluecar
      @mikewiththebluecar Před 9 lety +2

      Yeah a great trick with that set up is to mount a piece of unistrut or angle iron to the wall and cut about 1 1/2" deep just to get your straight line. It beats just going handheld with no guide. I've cut many openings that were absolutely perfect that way. No deflections, perfectly straight. They looked like they were wall sawed.

    • @mikewiththebluecar
      @mikewiththebluecar Před 9 lety +2

    • @mikewiththebluecar
      @mikewiththebluecar Před 9 lety +5

      Because it sucks to rip rebar with a handsaw. It takes forever to cut and being a hand held tool fatigue will eat your lunch on production.

    Such a thin wall. You can make it much faster with hand-held tool 12-16" blade cut off saw.

    • @billy909420
      @billy909420 Před 2 lety +4

      Obviously you haven't used a hand saw on a wall cut for an opening have you?.
      You could never have that straight of a cut..
      That was a 6 to 8 inch wall..
      A 16" blade on a handsaw might get you 5 and a 1/2.

    • @whitelex
      @whitelex Před 2 lety +1

      @@billy909420 My point is to use hand-held saw where you can. It makes things faster than setting up a big saw. But if it's 6-8 inch wall I won't argue. The wall just looked thin when I first saw the video. But you did a nice job anyways!
