Lol it’s so funny when you are talking about him and Em cause in Em’s album Kamaikaze The Ringer he takes a shot at everyone in the rap game. One line he says is” Especially an N-effing clone of me.” So Nate says,” Rip that cocky smile right off your face for thinking you’re close to me.” Knowing Nate this is his idol, but also he loves competition. This song is not a diss track or anything like that it’s just a song I believe to prove that he belongs in this game. Then he says drop the T and A and you get EM but he changed it to ME. Then “ write my name on your hit-list might be the last time you wrote something” referring to the Ems album and Killshot then he goes “ Oh Lord they know me so well, They know I’m not in that casket, Trash-bag is probably buried somewhere full of my ashes” referring back to Oh Lord in Therapy Session. And Patiently Waiting is a song that 50 cent and Eminem did together
And when Nate says "shoot you out of the sky like your punch lines you are not landing" how is that NOT a kamikaze reference?

Sometimes you hit dirt when you swing at unpredictable pitches. So much heat in a song, it should almost be illegal. Almost. Keep ‘em coming!

Dude, nice catch of the trash bag reference. I think that's what seperates Nate from Em and why I think Nate is a better rapper and all around artist. The way he's tied all songs, cds, and videos all together to tell one big story, and to watch his skills progress over the years is way more entertaining than anything Marshall's got going on. Now don't get it twisted, Em is a phenomenal rapper, more than likely the goat, but let's see him put out a song without any cursing or foul references and see if it has as much impact as an NF song. I bet you it wouldn't. I don't doubt it would be a good song, but NF has carved out this lane for himself and he's the best at it.

There's a lot in here that does seem to point at Em. The one part where he says "Ain't this all I ever wanted, I'm confused..." I think is referring to the fact that Em "acknowledged" him in The Ringer but subtly dissed him, causing NF confusion since he has only ever bigged up Em.

Immediate Like here! Great reaction! There ain't no I in TEAM but drop the T and A.... it feels like it's only ME....Referring to him as a clean rapper. Many point to this as a reference to EM...whether it is or not, NF flips it and says it feels like it's only ME. (Certainly Em doesn't fit that category of a clean rapper). So many lines in this one...still my Favorite. It's not the deepest, but just so well put together.
There are shots (not really, but don't really know what to call them) to em and his career throughout the whole song that are so hidden that you would have to dig with an excavator to expose them to daylight. Such great lyricism displayed right here
