Nate is a very deep and self aware individual man, one of the most appreciated thing about NF is that he can project his feelings through a song exactly the way he wanted us to feel it, not a lot of artists do that nowadays.

NF has built a following because he touches so much on inner emotion and dealing with mental illness and trauma. Start with mansion album and listen all the way through. Itâs a lot and connects with so many of us.
This song was so good in concert! It brought tears to my eyes through the whole song. He gives us so much to think about in this one. I had to listen to this one 10 x's in order to

This song is so unique. And he really puts you in his head. Makes you feel like youâre drifting through the song the whole time as he tells you what itâs like when heâs drifting. The end part to me really gets you in your head with the piano and then he snaps you out of it. The only way he feels he can snap out of his own rut, aggressive change. Itâs a crazy concept, done incredibly well. Awesome reaction!
If I may, this is about as close as I can describe what having anxiety/depression combined with trauma surrounding neglect and abuse trauma. You disassociate so badly sometimes itâs almost like an out of body experience. Almost like youâre in an aquarium watching the world around you, and sometimes you canât separate events going on in the present and the memories that just take hold and donât let go. His four bars at the end is that moment where youâre fighting-as hard as you can, sometimes with EVERY bit of energy you can muster to come up for air and rejoin the present.

If fear is preventing you from fulfilling your purpose, then you have to take a stand and banish it from your space. Bro just came across your channel , I was just bored rewatching some people on CZcams react to NF and you popped up . Now I'm binge watching your playlist .
His wish is to feel safe but he feels like his wish of feeling safe wonât be heard. So heâs convinced himself that feeling safe is all together unrealistic.
Also the ending! Itâs him fighting every thought and negative feeling he described through the song. Itâs like we all feel down and can relate to his emotions. At the end though he decides to fight back all those thoughts giving us the motivation to break free from our dark thoughts that keep us âdriftingâ through life

I donât think all songs are sad.. but yes he does have songs like this. itâs definitely thought provoking and introspective but thatâs why his logo is real music because he raps whatâs real to him and itâs a lot about mental health..
mixtape is definitely different and it doesnât really align with the NF journey. It will all make sense as you start the journey. Like he said hieâs a puzzle with missing pieces.. each album is a piece and we fans love to connect it and make sense of it all .. itâs definitely a roller coaster but itâs a fun and worthy journey .. here for it!
