As an American who doesn't know any french, I too find the pronunciations cringy.
Honestly, I feel they SHOULD have aimed it for teens and gave it more plot and angst. I love the show but its just so childish and repetitive with the whole "something causes an akuma, fight the akuma, learn a lesson" every episode. I want some romance, some suspense, some angst, some identity reveal. Ugghhh I still love it so much though

If I’m not wrong i think that the show was originally suppose to be darker when it it was still going to be a web series. +Desmond Hollins I don't hate 3d at all, I actually quite like it. it's just not always necessary and is making a negative portrayal for 2D being just for kids
Hazy Express Paperman is kind of a special case. It was a strange 3D/2D hybrid with the drawings/outlines layered on top of the 3D models. In an interview, the director of the short mentioned his love of how expressive 2D drawings were, and how that could be applied to Paperman. So, while the animation was 3D, he wanted that drawn, 2D look to it.
Personally, I feel that 2D animation is dying out simply because it's expensive and harder to make. However, I also feel that 2D still has the advantage of being more expressive and stylized compared to 3D. And despite the advancements 3D animation has made, I can't help but feel that there's something lost.
BUT, again, this is all personal opinion. Your mileage may vary! ^_^

I had read more into Felix’s character and I had found out that his ring was gonna be a curse instead of him just getting it. I liked this idea but unfortunately they had scrapped him completely. They had the right idea but I think they should’ve left that one small detail to make the show more interesting

"the developers decided to make the switch to appeal to western audiences considering the unfortunate downfall of 2D animation." ya im calling bull crap on that "fact". it couldn't be that it also happens to be cheaper in the long run. i don't know what shows people are watching but the vast majority of 3d animation sucks. i'm not saying its all bad but it mostly feels like its used to make a cheap series and to keep it going for as long as possible with very little investment. just saying that if there is some sort of downfall in 2D animation its not the viewers but the producers that view it this way. that said one of the reasons i watched this show is because the animation was good. very few shows put in the effort.

No, they switched to 3d because they wanted to make it more appealing and marketable. The pilot episode, Ladybug PV, was an anime and developers were unsure how they were to market this show or if it would be popular in that style.

Chloe is kind of like Cissi from Code Lyoko. She's only around to be a nuisance and cause problems that the heroes have to fix. Cause let's be fair.. Chloe causes pretty much all of the extreme sadness/anger.

When I started watching the show, it immediately reminded me of Randy Cunningham 9th Grade Ninja!
1) a regular teenager with a hero side that's connected to an object that's given to them usually because they're a good person with good intentions (Randy was given a mask and Nomicon and the wielders were given accessories aka the Miraculouses)
2) the villain preys on people who are distressed in some way and turns them into mini villains/monsters (The Sorcererer "stanks" his victims, turning them into monsters. Hawk Moth uses dark butterflies, turning them into mini villains)
3) sometimes, someone with evil intentions has a hold of these powers (Mac Antfee and Hawk Moth)

What the heck, I like Felix, in fact I think the personality they were going for with him would've been quite interesting. My main problem with Adrian is that him and Chat are pretty much identical in terms of personality. Marinette and Ladybug are startlingly different, one having an abundance of confidence and skill while the other is shy and much more reserved. Felix being a stuck up proper person during the day and a freelance and wild hero by night would've been much more interesting if played right in my opinion. Not saying I don't like Adrian, but seriously, what's with all this Felix hate.

I think Felix is such an amazing character
Chat and Adrien are not exactly the same. Adrien is more reserved, calm, and bottled up whereas Chat is wild, boisterous and confident. This dynamic is even made clearer in the origins episodes: Adrien doesn't even hesitate on becoming a miraculous holder because it's his escape; when he's Chat he is free to be who he really is. Plus, I believe that when they transform they gain a little bit of their kwamii's personality alongside their powers. You can see Plagg in Chat, and Tikki in Ladybug.

I love these 107 facts videos, they're great but there is ALWAYS words mispronounced in them and it annoys me. It's not a big deal, but I'm just a generally nitpicky person, so when i hear a mispronunciation, it stands out and is impossible to ignore.

It's not that. It's because not only does she have bad pronunciation, but she sounds like she's about to cry _consistently._ Not only that,but she has a very slow voice and has trouble just speaking. If she's trying to pull off an American accent, then I recommend that she just do her own accent. At least then she'll speak normally. If not, then she shouldn't be narrating. It's not exclusionary to say that people with speech impediments shouldn't narrate. Just as how blind people shouldn't be barbers and people with Parkinson's shouldn't be tattoo artists.
