That is the cleanest 21 year old under carriage ive ever seen...WOW..!!!
I say this no every video i watch. Because no one even mentions it. The thing is after you change the oil in the rear differential it’s a good idea to check the vent cap on top of the axle housing. Because if it is plugged up with whatever it can cause pressure to build in the housing and cause the axle seals to leak the diff fluid and that could cause your brakes to go bad. Just a thought.
They are only a few bucks for piece of mind.
Well done I'll be doing mines soon. I have a 1 gallon Jug it should do the trick!
Dude- that front end was clean! Thanks Speedy, appreciate the new T4R content. Keep on truckin’
More to come!
That rear diff oil looked damn good for its age!
I was very surprised lol.
Your a great mechanic, very knowledgeable.....i have a 3rd gen 4runner i want to restore, frame is shot, body is solid
Great job god bless
In my case it did not come out so I welded a nut, after that I just changed the oil and left it like that for the rest of its life there welded
Not a speck of rust. Must be nice.
I vote powersteering.
(I've never actually flushed a power steering unit, just replaced them for various reasons. i.e., noise)
Those hex bolts are fine. The only reason people strip them out is if they don't clean them out and the socket isn't seated all thr way.
This 4runner Ben in off-road 🤭🤭🤭 very clean
Not in a VERY long time lol.
Nice beard
Not saying it's a problem, but that's the thinnest 90W gear oil I've seen.
It's all I've used so I don't have a comparison but its been good for 100k miles and 15 years in this truck. Maybe synthetic flows better?
What valve did you use to open the line to let fluid transfer into the front diff…Thanks
This gear oil is for REAR DIFFERENTIAL also ?
I planned on using redline 75w90, do you think the gallon jug will be enough?
First
😄
never ever remove the drain plug before the fill plug. NEVER!!!
