X, formerly Twitter, has introduced a $16/month Premium Plus plan with major reply boosts and ad removal. It expands on the Premium plan, which includes a blue checkmark and tweet editing.
X also offers a $3/month Basic plan with a smaller reply boost but no checkmark or ad reduction. These subscriptions are web-exclusive and part of Elon Musk's efforts to monetize and enhance the platform.

Which X subscription plan interests you the most - Premium Plus or Basic, and why?

What if a person is already subscribed to the premium? Is there a way to pay the difference and move up or do they just have to wait until the end of their subscription. And then sign up for the new one

And these subscriptions are mainly aimed at people who are content creators by trade or are trying to become one.
Your regular poster can still use X to express themselves to their groups.
