    Hey Lauren, what a beautiful rock structure. The tank looks stunning with it! 🍾👍
    But when you present it „24h later“ at 4:10 minutes without the little supports the rockwork wiggles a little. This is a worst case scenario, but…With bigger corals on it the force of flow that acts on it increases. And over time sand can get under it it, even when you put the rocks directly on the Glas. With its Lage overhangs it could toggle and crash the glas. Can you still reinforce the base?
    And you can check your new sand with a magnet for iron parts. These 5 minutes of effort can avoid possible problems due to iron problems. I posted a pic on Instagram of what I collected in the cleaned sand before I started my tank. 🙂

      Thanks for your suggestions! 😁🙌 it was a little stuck to the cardboard and took some force for me to wobble it like that. But I’m pretty confident it’s solid. 😊
      Great idea with the sand! Thinking I’ll soak the display in Rodi water while I’m waiting on last bits of equipment. To try and draw out things too. 🤔😊🙌

    You can try fraggiing Expoxy. Marine safe and super tough.

    What are your plans for fish & corals?

    • @SimpleAquariumsLauren
      @SimpleAquariumsLauren  Před 3 lety +1

      Corals will mainly be acropora and maybe some scrolling montipora at the back. Fish I’m still making up my mind 🤔 open to suggestions! 😁🙌

      @@SimpleAquariumsLauren sounds like a challenge! Great! For fish you can try something like a small goby/blenny/shrimpy. They are easier to see and enjoy in smaller aquariums. Good luck!
