We've lost a large part of the people who made this music and put so many smiles on millions of faces. We still have KC and these days, that means a lot to me. Thank you God for letting us enjoy him for so long.
KC should be in rock and roll hall of fame.
I agree with you completely!!! He absolutely belongs in the rock & roll hall of fame!!!
He's not?!?!?!?
@@margaretsullivan6309: No, because KCTSB are considered "disco", or "R&B", or "funk".
Yes
KC is still young enough to give us lots of great music for years to come...look how Mic Jagger is still out there and he is allot older than KC...if KC would hang out with Mic and get as fit as he is.
if he does that, we will have him for years to come because his voice is still great....health is the greatest resource that we can have.....
KC brother, i hope i can still move and have your energy at that age. Please dont stop. Youve made a lot of people very happy. Your south Florida brother from another mother.
They sound great! Still performing at 72! Keep going!
I just turned 70, so am thrilled to not only be alive, but to enjoy rockin it with my man KC and his Sunshine Band! Wish I had been there!!
Really nice updated arrangement and choreography on Give it Up.
Wow, does this bring back memories!!! KC and the Sunshine Band was the very first concert I ever saw 😊. It was the summer of 1976 Ontario Place, Toronto, Ontario and I was 14 and had a lot of school friends with me and it was incredible 😊😊. I was fortunate enough to see Led Zeppelin, Heart and Pink Floyd later on in my teens, but the KC concert was the one I remember most 👏👏👍🔥🇨🇦
KC inspires us all to keep shaking our booties no matter our age and size! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Loved KC in the 70's . Am loving this as well
❤LOVE U KC PEOPLE -- thanks
for the 🌞 SONSHINE -- we sure do
need it these days. God BLess u all
& repay you many times over ...
💞👣👣😄🥰🙏😇💕💕💕💕
I remember KC & The Sunshine Band from the 70s. Very popular also here in Sweden. Great to see that KC is still performing and still has a great voice ❤️
What a fun show! Made me think about putting on some old roller skates, but I'm almost as old as KC and I'd probably end up in a hospital...lol...good memories though. Thanks for uploading.
I'm so glad they're around here in 2023 we need to be happy in these times
I hope that I can still move like that when I'M 72 years young!!!
Amen!
Amen
I love this band. Kc and the sunshine band had so many hits . A great and fun part of my youth. I miss being young.
The great KC and your fantastic band. Long life KC & The Sunshine Band. (Wilbirá - Brazil)

I’ve been a super fan since 1975 And I’m so happy that I’ve had the awesome pleasure to experience the talented Harry Wayne Casey back in 1970 s and I’m still loving him in 2023❤❤❤❤
Disco music of the 70's is always the best. 🎉

❤❤❤ KC and the Sunshine band!!! I ♥️loved♥️the 70’s‼️ What a wonderful time it was ‼️ Just happened to find this and I am so glad I did ‼️ Enjoyed 🥰🥰🥰 KC still got it‼️‼️‼️
KC signed my T Shirt in Vancouver Washington at Esther Short Park! It said KC Loves Patty 😊
Love these songs it brings dreams and memories to me. Keep the good works on we love love all you guys, thanks, K .C and band members be safe
It goes without saying that everyone still LOVES these tunes...
The choreography is on point! KC never misses a beat.
Couldn't wait to see Dick Clark Sat afternoon s man this made a old smile could not stop watching thanks watching from Beautiful Bedford Virginia home of the National D day memorial because we lost so many patriots in this small Town come visit my friend zs
Back in the early 90’s I was in the KC fan club. I met KC back stage 3 times. The Village people were opening for him. I stood next to him and freaked out when I saw his ring KC in gold. He signed my 2 albums and a KC bandana. Fun times. I Love him and his music. He is an all time Legend.
The King of Funk😊
KC & The Sunshine Band should be in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame
OMG! How are they NOT??? 🤯😵
Rock n Roll? KC?
Nope
They are rock n roll tbh
@@lexbeltran1354 tbh? What the hell is that?
This really isn't Rock & Roll, it's Disco.
I’m a Fan and I have loved ❤KC and the SunShine Band Snice 1974 I was in the Army at a Dance Club , Vietnam was ending and I was enjoying listening to KC AND THE SUNSHINE BAND PLAYING ON THE JUKEBOX AND WATCHING THE GIRLS DANCE . I HAD A WEEKEND PASS AND I WAS SO HAPPY JUST LISTENING TO KC AND HAVING A FEW COLD BEERS 🍺 LIFE WAS GOOD AND STILL IS ! THANK YOU KC AND THE SUNSHINE BAND ! Brings back the memories of the 1970s .
His music brings me back to my childhood. I first saw him on t.v. on the Mike Douglas Show. Happy memories. I can't believe he's 72!
Well then you won't believe this: He just turned 73 on Jan. 31st, 2024! 😁
@@janishart5128Wow Happy belated Birthday KC And many more to come , ❤💜🧡🧡 xx
@@gaylewhauwhau3972: Yes, I agree!!
I grew up in Miami,Fl and have loved KC and the Sunshine Band since I was seven years old having listened to Y-100 the local radio station and roller skating at several local rinks listening and having fun to the band's music for many years! I will be 55 next month and will be a fan always! Happy to see KC and the Sunshine Band are still putting on great concerts and having a good time doing so for us fans!
KC and his band still totally got it! Clean and powerful vibe. Better to see how tight they are here, then even on old TV appearances where they are playing to the track. Well done, folks! Also, I never would have guessed that he was anywhere near 72!
He just had his 73rd birthday on Jan. 31st, 2024!
Great music and those girls are fine to watch..... thanks for the video
This band is definitely one of my favorites from the 70’s. They sound great and they interact with the people that came to be with them tonight. A real showman without even working at it. Great, great memories.
wow KC is amazing still has it an amazing talent!!!
Still moving well for 72 and a big man.
IS THAT REALLY KC ?
@@theodoreritola7641I know I wondered too! Kinda sounds like him. But????
@@pattymcneel1283 LOL YEPPERZ
@@theodoreritola7641: Yes! He just turned 73 on 31/01/24.
IM FAR FROM BEING GAY but Kc was a very hansome man in the 70s I wanted to look like K,C And i realy like his music STILL LOL
In his 70's and still singing, FULL VOICE with FULL MUSICAL ACCOMPANIMENT...
luv the horns...
with no overdubbing back track or voice enhancement...
just great pure music by people who luv their craft.
Keep it Coming, KC!!!
I haven't watched the entire video, but when I saw them this summer, he talked about how we were hearing live music. No backing tracks, no lip syncing, no autotune. If they screwed up something, we were going to hear it.
KC you are just as delightful as you always was. So happy you are still singing and making people happy . You are blessed and highly favored. HAPPY NEW YEAR. May you live as long as you want to.
I miss the 70's but I miss the 80's even more.
I ordered a short sleeve "KC and the Sunshine Band" shirt for my 10-year-old granddaughter. She knows who you are. She watches me play-a-long to your hits on my Music Man Sting Ray.
As a pre-teen I was a member of the KC and the Sunshine Band Fan Club. Got all the stickers and everything. good to see it. Respect.
Go crazy!
Me 2 !! All the way from Nigeria! Big hit in Nigeria
God bless this man still performing ❤
WONDERFUL MUSICIANS AND DANCERS....
72 and still kicking @$$!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Awesome cool 👍😎👍
Look at all those members he employs, I’m sure the entire tour cost falls on his shoulders and he is working hard giving people jobs. I like it.
That’s something I always wondered about KC, imho he doesn’t earn big money and really does it for the music.
If I'm not mistaken, the band's booking fee is between $75,000 - $100,090 for a concert. They have about 15 people traveling in the show. So with agent fees, travel expenses, sleeping, paying each person etc., it adds up.
The town and the advertisers pay for them. They get paid, they don't work for free.
@@Seekmage I thought that he would be in way lower regions on the booking fee. Now it makes sense.
Where does the town get 75,000 dollars..@@Seekmage

I'm a 55 year old guy and I can honestly say his music has been a part of my life since my childhood days of the 70s and I can remember that song from 1980 when I was roller skating my favorite skating I was twelve going on thirteen kc thank you for all the wonderful music
best concert i've ever been to in my life
Very inspiring
KC may be a bit bigger and older, but he still gets around welll and is still a great SHOW MAN!🎉
He jokes about it now. He doesn't care. He said that today his show is KFC & The Sunshine Band. He's got a great attitude.
He looks enormous. He looks like he is ready to have a heart attack. It is shocking.
@@sallywilliams5444 But... he's MOVING the body which is better than not!!
♥️
No joke being that fat. a performer needs to take care of his appearance@@modernretroradio993
@@roseh143Exactly,he obviously has to start somewhere.. I give him lots of credit at least he's dancing & not rocking 😞 n a rocking chair!!!
When I was a kid back in 1979 or 1980 I got a KC and the Sunshine Band greatest hits album in my Easter basket. I've been a fan ever since.
KC has certainly aged. But haven't we all??!!! Dude is still groovin'. His music lives on! Glad to see he's still doin' his thang!!! More power to you, KC!!!!
Who doesn't age?
True that !
Who looks like they did almost 50 years ago? Glad to see him up and about; moving and groovin'.
@@sonyasees1022 True that !
I had to look it up. He's now 72yo and still getting out there. More power to him.❤
Nothing like a little Sunshine after a long day at work. Great times.
I'm a 54 yr old English guy sat here watching this and its the most special live music I've seen omg to each and everyone one of you god bless you thank you kc and the sunshine band i don't fly so pls come to England xx
Speaking of which, kudos to the creator of this channel and anyone involved filming. Job VERY well done.
I second that emotion.jack. The UK fell in love with KC & The Sunshine Band back in the 70s.. Hit after hit, he swept up my teenage years definitely in boogieland & I forever thank him for the music. He's been dancing all his life so his bones are well used to the bashing of his dancing to disco music. I even joined the fan club & I used to get regular letters & updates from the band. I still have them. Now I'm 63 & KC is 72.....what happened??? We all grow old together but it's the music from my youth that keeps me young at heart. Anyone who lived those fabulous disco years will know what I'm saying, if you have disco in your heart you'll always stay young at heart. I missed the band when they did a gig in London back in 2017 I think. I was twisted up with sciatica a the time so I just couldn't make it. So you have to come back to the UK again Mr Casey to make up for my missing your last visit to the UK.. lol.....😀.Keep it coming KC, my boogie shoes are still in good nick!!
I'm a fan since the 70s He's from my hometown He is part of our and his youth and our community. He's also an all around nice person. Very pleasant. KC, you are loved, have always been loved, and always will be. Thanks for the music.
I LOVE the way he sounds! His voice has gotten better with age imo
thank you K.C. for all the great music
He sounds great!!!!
Brother put on a pound or two.😊 You are a legend and we need you to be around for a long time.
Wow really enjoyed this , thanks for the upload.
Thanks for sharing. KC & the Sunshine band was one of my all-time favorite 70s bands. Great band!
LOVE YOU KC!!!!LOVED AND STILL LOVE ALL YOUR HITS!!!!! You areDESERVING OF HALL OF FAME!!!!! HISTORY💃💃💃🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻❤
I saw KC WHEN I was 15? at Six Flags in Arlington, Tx. ‘76?…. Great times and amazing memories. God Bless him from still rockin’ it at ‘72. Sounding good and great memories!
I grew up on his music and so happy he is still sharing his talent with all of us!
This show is proving GHETTO isn’t the only option. The dancers are dressed fun but modestly and no twerking. This dude is ALL CLASS.
Yeah even Rick James and James Brown didn't objectify their dancers. Two girls did it right here leaving the other two girls invisible.
Always has been a classy guy. God blessed him with alot of talent and even more heart.
*Great Music and great time growing up in America. Thank You Great Lord Above fulfilling the air with Harmony.* And still trying at his later age to create harmony in everyones lives.
For as huge as KC got, he still has the moves good for him.
Was class of 1980 miss late 70s disco. Rolled skate. To that song many times many times Saturday nights
Age and gravitational pull may have increased but KC still knows how to boogie. Good on him. Good show.
so has his belly
- Pero este gordito es Casey
KC was a customer at an internet company that I worked for some years ago. I got to speak with him on the phone 3 times, and I must say he's a really nice man! I had to take care of a problem with one of his orders. When we were done we spent a moment to talk about some of the Chicago shows that I saw him at. And because it was around the holidays he even wished me a happy new year. He's a class act!
i would have been tongue tied lol ,, i was that way with Meatloaf he was at the mall where i lived in connecticut thenwords would not come out lol
@@francisbarrett1881 I can understand that. Me, I was used to meeting celebrities when I attended autograph shows in Chicago over the years. It was always cool to meet them, and the experience was always nice.
That is awesome!
Great anecdote. Nice to see that he's a regular type guy.
Double tons of fun..love it so so much..thanks a lot!!!!
He's fabulous!!!!❤❤❤
Love the song _"Rock your Baby"_ by *"George McCrae"* Co written By *KC* ..from the Summer of 1974. I temporary moved from " _New Haven Connecticut" to "Daytona Beach FL"_
to spend some time with my Girlfriend. Her family sold their house and moved to Daytona. Her Mom was always getting sick so, They thought moving
to a warmer climate would help her. This song was always on the radio! Back then it was AM Radio, Other songs were also constantly playing like "*Maria Muldaur's"*
" _Midnight at the Oasis_ " another great tune, And " *Harry Chapin's* " _W*O*L*D*_ .. " *Cat Stevens* " " _Oh Very Young"_ . I'll tell you, they don't have great singer/songwriters
like they had back in the 60's/70's. It was so Great to have been there! *I thank the Lord for it all!* 💑✝☮🎵✈
Inner beauty is what matters and KC has it and a nice looking man as well. Love your music, showmanship and talent. Fond memories of my childhood because of your music. Some of the best music ever. Love to you.
P.S. the dancers were marvelous performers.
72 years and still making it happen, always a fan.
72 years old and still making it happen ! I still listen to his music. Brings back memories of middle school dances in the late 70’s.
Looks like l missed a wonderful show when I did not go see him at the LA county fair. Thank you so much for your post.
He sure did put out the hits in the 70's. Keep it up, Harry!! 👍👍
