On the point of movement for console players it is so frustrating that some teamates dont get it. You are COMPLETELY silent if you walk. I cant tell you how many teammates ive spectated run to a corner, slow down just before going around it, and then get immediately onetapped by an enemy ready to prefire. Then they complain saying stuff like “how did he know i was there” Like sure dont walk everywhere, but if you need speed just pull out your knife and walk. Not to mention when im pushing up on an area and my teamate is running next to me basically just letting the enemy know that we are there

@@whycp3 not to mention they apparently have no idea how to split up so you end up being body blocked by your own teammates. One of my games today (cant remember the map) everyone literally went A for the first 3 rounds while the enemy capped B for free. Like i get that maybe some want to stick and cover A but atleadt SOME should have the bright idea that if they keep hitting B without contest then their not gonna risk going to A
This. I also use focus aiming basically as a walk button because i dont really trust the threshold every time.

Yea yoru is phenomenal he just takes a lot of map knowledge. He’s the character for those who like out thinking their opponents. I was a plat yoru main on pc and I’ve been destroying lobbies on yoru.
I played one game today of Yoru, dropped 35 kills, like the tech is there the problem tho, lots of noobs! But someone like us we can have lots of success, while new players will struggle
@@MyNameIsTrev the only difference I’ve noticed is that the animation cancel when exiting his ult doesn’t seem to work on console. Other than that he’s the same as on pc so I think telling people not to play him is kind of ridiculous. He was the first character I picked up and he’s definitely a solid pick.

Yeah i honestly loved yoru at first, loved the teleport and tho the flash was a bit awkward to use bc it has to rebound first it was still pretty good. Against pretty absentminded teams ive found him as a great flanker but im not sure hes for me. On one of my best games with him my friend kept telling me he was my main but almost every other game i get shit on, but just bc i get the highest or second highest of our team every other game the pressure to keep maining him is alot. I originally wanted to play reyna but my friend immediately simped and locked her in even tho hes a better deadlock
@@therickeffect7466 don’t get discouraged watch eggster for guidance. Teleporting with the flash is how u make space for the team. When u need to use the flash as a traditional (I.e flash around. A corner) throw it off the wall in front of you
Cypher was the first agent I bought because I mained bloodhound/crypto on apex absolutely love him for choke points

I’ve been playing for around a week now, and I have been maining Gekko. He’s busted because most people don’t think to shoot wingman whenever he’s planting or defusing, but, usually people do NOT want to follow up your dizzy, which is extremely annoying, his Molly and ult are really good though.

I do not agree with argument "do not play cause it's hard / has high skill celling / requires great aim". Rn is the perfect time to try out what is your playstyle and which abilities suit you. If you already feel confident with your aim and want to grind difficult characters - start now, the faster the better. Who cares if you lose or can't utilise all the abilities to the fullest, you'll get ready for ranked when it comes out.
I completely agree you can't learn a character if you don't play and mess around with their kit for a while. I'm loving vipers kit and definitely want to get better with her, regardless if she is considered "do not play". Now is the perfect time to learn through trial and error before rank drops
I don't disagree at all, from what I've heard in team chats most people have no idea how Valorant works so an agent with a high skill ceiling may not be the best at the start but once you understand the fundamentals, I would say expand and try the high ceiling agents
As someone coming from Apex who mained Mirage, Yoru seems like the perfect character for me.

I also came from apex and after trying viper and not liking her that much i grinded my last agent token and got yoru. On certain maps hes actually really good at getting around long stretchs of open area safely and with a good amount of ppl on console not knowing what agents do what ive been able to fully flank teams and wipe half if not the entire team before the even notice im behind them. I remember one neon i faced i would put my tp into a corner of that angle on bind and as soon as i heard this noob neons footsteps id bounce a flash off the side then tp behind her and get her atleast 3/5 rounds of the swiftplay. Made me get. Into the game more bc i was getting frustrated with how bad viper felt after spending the token on her

Im enjoying Viper a lot on console, I'm practicing the line ups with her and they're definitely doable since I've learned specific nade spots in CoD and main Kiriko in OW2 and have learned some suzu spots. I think the biggest issue is not getting teammates on coms since she requires a lot of communication to work.

Who should I pick between Kay and Yoru? How do they differ and what makes them hard
At the current moment if you want to be highly productive, do learn one agent per class, so you have flexibility in que, meaning learn:
- Duelist
- Initiator
- Controller
- Sentinel
so you have the KJ, so you could learn both, but since you are new I would recommend
- Duelist: Phoenix or Reyna
- Initiator: Sova
- Controller: Omen
- Sentinel: KJ
@@MyNameIsTrev I've heard Kayo is a flex pick since his abilities can work with all roles. I appreciate the recommendations
been playing KAY/O since he has a traditional flash and a good molotov, however I will say while the EMP Kunai is good for intel and a little difficult to use effectively overall, I wish it scanned enemies instead of suppressing their abilities, which is almost a useless debuff in my experience
I completely disagree you don’t always want it to get info, you gotta use the knife when enemies rush a site! The suppress can be crazy
Sadly neon on console is bugged: she has to ready the gun after sliding instead of being able to shoot instantly
for me even if she's bugged she is a menace still, I'm over looking any bugs
I came to say the same thing. Makes the slide suicidal against good aim
@@joshthompson9243some are suspecting that rather than a bug it was somehow intentional that she has to chamber the gun after slide due to differences in aiming between console/pc? Personally I think she needs to be the same (as pc) as a neon player 😅

I come from Siege so my initial pick up was Cypher cause he reminded me of Valkyrie and man I was so mistaken. He’s actually harder than I thought. I ended up a Breach/Deadlock/Brim player lol

As an iso main, he is supah dupah broken on pc and console, totally not abusing aim assist

Dude I’ve been playing killjoy and she is definitely good but with the current strats people use on the console it’s really difficult to play

ive been using yuro on ps5 and been tearing lobbies with him, the low skill ceiling on console rn makes him easy to wreak havoc with...iso is the best tho sadly undeniable i think personally he needs nerfing

as an experience player I disagree with over half of these things for console, although I mainly play pc I don’t understand how
- Raze imo should be A-tier
- Neon should be A-tier
- Viper should be B-tier
- Deadlock should be C-tier
-Kayo should be B or A tier
That’s my opinion but no hate I like the content
Also chamber should be higher for console even tho he isn’t as valuable he is still strong maybe like C or B tier
I don’t disagree if this was a PC tierlist but with the complexity of controller for newcomers and some skill of the players! I’m crushing teams with deadlock, however on pc I wouldn’t be able to get away with that stuff, Kayo is difficult currently for the average player right now, Raze I don’t disagree but to be effective as raze console players aren’t there yet. Don’t get me wrong I think this tierlist will change, but with time this will change :)
Omen is absolutely disgusting on console. I have never played valorant before, but I just got off a game (lost it 13-15 because 3 of my teammates were the bottom 3 on the match leaderboard 😢) and I went 39/18/2

I have a match where I went 31/10/4 with omen I used him before years ago on shitty pc lol then I get on here an so many characters are gone but him my favorite is still here🙏🏾
The way you explain why not to play chamber makes no sense the things you say as negatives seem like positives to me
I'm not saying chamber is bad, but since Chamber is a heavy aim character and majority of console players struggle with aim right now, It wouldn't be the best to play, but you have to remember not everyone has the ability to have all the characters unlocked to play right away. So resources are precious and other Sentinels are better!

I will say this much, the aim assist on chamber’s ult seems higher than a normal operator which makes it feel super good and friendly to use.
I did feel something when I played with him on stream!
