I've had a taillight out for months, and always forget when I get home. The start of this video is finally going to lead to me fixing my damn taillight.
The wonders of the daily grind causing a bit of amnesia.
I test my blinkers when I'm behind someone at a stop light. A lot of paint jobs are highly reflective, so it's easy to do a quick check. Rear lights, I have to do at night. I pull out of the garage, put the door down, while remaining fairly close, and test that way. You can usually tell if lights are working or not. It's a habit now.
So it's safer to tow it like that than just drive it back? Makes total sense. /sarcasm

They legally have to say it. You could probably just get it home if they leave you...but you've been told so they are clear on their end.
It's not based in logic it's based on government rules,they want registration money or no driving.

That was so heart warming at the end of your video. I loved seeing that you appreciate the men and women in Blue. They're is a lot of controversy about some of the bad police officers but that doesn't make them all bad just certain ones are and surely the good ones out way the bad. Thanks for supporting the Police. I've been in the military for a good little while so naturally I have a good amount of friends in the Police Force and they are just people who wanted to do good for the community and get paid for it. We can't let the actions of few allow us to paint a terrible picture of an entire group of people.

Only folks who hate the cops are the ones who break the law. I never had a problem with them in all my years and I have traveled and lived many places in the US. There a few bad actors but that's in every profession. In my profession, I have seen the number of people caught stealing and embezzling is outrageous. They come in all colors, shapes and sizes, social classes, professions including even religious self righteous ones.

The problem is Americans don't travel or live abroad, so an armed response and death to non-compliance is completely natural to you. Other forces face the same issues and barely discharge their weapons, don't power trip, don't turn off their body cams and so on.

Really, really appreciate your message with law enforcement. So many people are taught to hate/disrespect them and it's nice to see someone showing the complete opposite. My dad just retired with 41 years as an officer, making it all the way up to Chief and he is so appreciated in our community. Anyways, y'all are awesome and also love that y'all show your faith. What you did for those police officers was amazing! I recently mailed a hand written thank you letter to my local police department and they actually sent me a post card letting me know it was hanging in their briefing room so everyone could read it! More people need to thank the police instead of spewing so much hate and nonsense.
You are probably the first person to ever do that. Cops aren't looking to good these days.
