@@Leximarcellaa Leximarcellaa creme of nature coconut milk leave in and creme of nature coconut milk cream, sometimes a serum or oil... i do the raking method and to finish, i use a denmon like brush in a downwards motion all around my hair for less volume

I personally like wearing my hair as flat and stretched as I can so I can get it to last as long as possible so it won't be really tangled and frizzy by wash day.
what method do you use to stretch your curls??
@@Leximarcellaa I use leave in's like shea moisture curl stretch pudding and gels to hold the style. I do my hair at night and air dry. Then I twist my hair into a high bun and sleep with it at night to further stretch the curls. If I smooth my hair out nicely before I twist into a bun, my curls have a nice loosen wave by the next day.

Same, I am mixed and I always had volume in my hair and didn’t like it, I didn’t know how to get the flat curls and I realised that I might try shea moisture as everyone is doing it and it works for them.

I love wearing my curls flat but as the week goes on it gets a bit voluminous which I do like as well. I prefer to have my hair flat the first three days but after that I don’t mind frizz and volume

Anytime I go for volume, my hair loses majority definition by the next day. (It's weird... I know)

I really don't like when my curls have volumen.
I prefer my hair curly flat, I have always had so much volume in my hair and would lose the curls and I didn’t know how to fix it. I love how your hair looks curly flat and it is genuinely easier to brush and make hairstyles with if it doesn’t have all the volume.
my hair shrinks and puffs out so much, I like having it flat and hanging down
I don't mind big hair, though it can get tangles easily that way. I'm not even mixed, but I have weird tiny waves that coil/curl on the ends. And it's not really super thick either.
Thank you so much for this video. My school doesn't allow us to wear our hair out unless it's "tame", so this is perfect for me. Plus I like my hair flat and defined versus voluminous and big cause it just looks like like a frizzy afro at that point.

the reason im trying to do this is bc i never liked my natural hair which is curly bc it gets so big and has so much volume so i straighten it a lot to get it flat and like ya but personally i dont like straight hair but i do like flat hair so tysm for this video bc no one ever gets how i dont like hair with volume

Having wavy/curlyish hair is such a struggle especially because my mom has straight hair so to her “curly and straight hair doesn’t make a difference” she thinks hair is just hair. Which is why I do my own hair now but all that damage from the past years show on my hair.

Yup. This is what ive been missing. I have barrel curls in my hair. I usually just get frustrated and put it in a bun. My hair is almost to my shoulders, so its in this akward phase of poofing up in the back like crazy it looks so stupid to me.
