First of all childhood should be extended to 45 🤣 Because even if your pre-frontal has fully developed at 25, it takes at least another 20 years, I rate, to understand the plot line that is adulting. Everyday I feel lied to about this stage of life and I’m 32 😭

The worst part about adulting is that you have to show up even if your world is falling apart, there is no pause break 😅😭

I often find that when I or ppl are up in other ppls business, super critical, or insulting, it's because we're not using that energy towards work we as individuals should be doing. It's really easy to judge others if we just watching on the sidelines, letting our own lives pass us by, ignoring our own responsibilities. If I was in an unhealed, insecure, unfulfilled place, it was easier to project that onto others as though trying to make ppl/places at large answer for my hardships. Theres a time and place for addressing when institutions at large enforce oppression, but theres also a time to be honest about hardships weve caused ourselves. So often ppl want everything around them to change and be better, but refuse to do the work themselves. Celebrities, social media, even the news can be a distraction from real or more immediate issues going on near us or in us. Making a living and being an adult is hard, let alone having a family, community, hobbies, financial stability. Time and energy is limited and we have to choose our causes wisely. We're not going to be able to do it all, it's very easy to get overwhelmed as few ppl often do the work of many with so many issues to address in the world. Pick what's most resonating or where you believe you'll have the most impact.
