34067 Blasts over the S&C and 44871 & 45407 head for Glasgow on Day 3 of the GB XVI 15 /4/24.

SR 34067 Tangmere would start Day 3 of the Great Britain XVI from Lancaster to Carlisle via the Settle and Carlisle line with LMS Black Fives 44871 & 45407 taking over at Carlisle to take the tour onwards to Glasgow central . We see 34067 at Selside Shaw shortly after the blizzard had cleared and the sun coming out . We then move to Oxenholme to see the two fives heading for Carlisle . Finally we see 44871 & 45407 at a gusty Westmoor bridge near Carlisle .This would be only the third time in preservation history that 34067 would head over the S&C Northbound.

Steve, Plenty of weather variety to contend with but no impact of your excellent video production. Tangmere living up to its "volcano" name tag but as experienced by myself yesterday the exhaust covered the train. The Black Fives were going well. Regards, John
