It's been over 7 months since I made my last Kaizo level, and 10 months since my last Pit of PePanga level. After taking a long break, I decided it was time to BS some creativity out of my butt again.

I like how panga says “I should use that idea for a level” so often in his videos and then makes a level and uses none of those concepts lol
reminds me of myself 😂 gathering all exercises papers but end up doing none of those for my exams
Tbh I dont blame him sometimes I see some really cool level ideas but then I forget what they are bc I didnt save the idea anywhere lol

yeah literally accurate af for me too.
Because of my mind making so many ideas that I tend to use the initial ones because either A. I found something better or B. I found a similar concept that can fit it better or in a sense it goes so far into the zone that the original idea is now a completely different one altogether which honestly is an disadvantage of myself lelz. Too much ideas that can't even see the light of day even.
I like how he consistently refers to "you" as the people who are going to be playing this level when literally everyone except like 100 people can hardly make it past the first few jumps lol

Panga shouldn't feel pressure about creating levels. His level creation videos are super inspiring for me and it's always awesome to see one of the best MM players let his creativity flow

Man, I watched Keiichi's YT video for 1st clear, this is INSANE!!! Can we get some more Professor Panga levels again soon too? They definitely helped me get better acquainted with Kaizo tech. Great to see you making levels again! They got me into MM content and are always a joy to watch, but no pressure. If you get burnt out or just take your time between them, all good, I still enjoy your normal content :)

i made a few hard levels mostly revolving around thwomps and the last 2 i made, after masks were added, i love the masks
over indication i dont think is an issue but i reckon that maybe my levels would be classed as over indicated. i just like coin lines

Coins are the best indicators in my opinion because it feels good to get a coin, the point of a Mario Maker level should be to make the player feel good, and coin indicators are great at this
Honestly enjoy this long video to show the process. Been thinking about making my first level and this comes at just the right time.

I mean, is it a thin line? Seems a pretty wide gap between a level requiring precise execution vs a level where the creator just spammed a bunch of nonsense

He can't put that on the title because there's a character limit, "Pit of PePanga: Mask Mandate v2" has 31 characters used of the 32 the title allows you.

Pangas level making videos are my favorite. Watching his brain work while making these super tough levels...is fascinating. I love his opinions on using markers for Kaizo levels, his confidence in what he wants, and the overall memeyness of it all. Good stuff, hope you make more levels soon :)

I do have an idea for goomba mask. Since icicles, th wimps and pink creepers don’t move when you are wearing a mask, you can force them to lose the mask (via other masks, or damage) That activates the enemies. (I’m no kaizo level creator, so you go ahead.

You should set it up so you need the goombas to get keys from notebooks behind bouncers/one way gates, that way if you kill the goombas you need to restart.
You could then use the free space since the level no longer needs to be 1 block high to make it even longer.

I dunno how this'd work, but one theory craft way to use the goomba mask that might work is to have the goomba mask on, then replace it with another mask to force an enemy to detect you, like for example, doing standard platforming with thwomps above, wall jump into a happy meal, spin to dodge the thwomp that got activated and land on top, or something I dunno. Just something with controlling when an enemy detects you would be cool
