I swear, every time I watch Pangaea make a level he considers easy I'm reminded of the time GPB said "The thing about Pangaea is that he's so insanely good he has no concept of difficulty."

And he nerfs it every now and then but it's still difficult, he said one time he can't make an easy level.
I actually remember that video. It’s in one of his YT videos, about last year. This also reminds me of the time Panga said he wants to reach a wider range of players by making an “easy” level but said himself that he’s “too good” in the game and what’s challenging for him is impossible for everyone lol

I've watched a few of Ross's course-making videos, I'm pretty sure he doesn't know what puzzle means
Finally some people notice, I’ve watched all of his Mario maker vids and I’ve been thinking that’s not a puzzle? Also one of my nitpicks is he loves to drop a bill blaster with on off switch as a mega man door but it’s pointless cause he always puts one ways right after but he has it in like a 1/4 of his levels for like every boss

if he's never gotten a legit puzzle level in endless or something then i can see why he doesn't know what that means. It would take explaining.

@@arsenalfanatic0971 the word puzzle wasn’t invented for Mario maker, nor is it used differently. There’s not really much excuse for him not knowing it
It's cute seeing rubber Ross being so new to mechanics and tricks that I take for granted as common knowledge, but only because I watch kaizo streamers. Sometimes I forget that, regardless of Mario being one of the most popular franchises, Mario Maker and kaizo tricks are not common knowledge even among the gamer community.
Same, I'm used to watching Panga and when people don't know a kaizo thing is weird to me.
mario maker doesn't have a lot of kaizo stuff that's in smw though
Panga making level be like: "This is really hard, but I can make it harder, so let do it."
exactly like Bennett Foddy when he was making Getting Over It "i usually found a lot of places really hard to over come during the development of the game, but i couldn't force myself to make them any easier, in fact i usually ended up making them slightly harder", not the actual quote but that's what i really remember from what he said

I feel Ross's pain, trying to implement sections that are too hard for me to play into my levels, while watching Panga carelessly adding Thwomps with munchers to "amp up" his "easy" level.

I FINALLY beat this level after about 5 hours... One time I slipped off the block with the key door. It took another two hours after that to beat it.

Imagine all the insane multiplayer levels you can make with the spin jumping on mechakoopa! A vertical level where you need to climb super high with 4 players sounds nuts, or a race to the right with some obstacle course kinda feel, oh baby

I don't think there's any specific trick, just practice makes perfect.
