Veteran housing is also corrupt, they charge them so much to live there they can't ever leave. The system is rigged by a money hungry Mafia and needs to be dismantled. The only President who's been for the military in 30 years was Trump. He donated his salary to the VA, he left office with less money than he entered. No other president can say the same.

@it's ok to be normal I am a daughter of a Vietnam vet. I was first born after and have health issues . Because my father was exposed to agent orange and what led to his death in 2001. It was found in his liver during autopsy. He wasn't given the option not to go. As children we grew up watching the affects of his ptsd and then dying of liver and pancreas cancer. The VA kept telling him it was diabetes and wrote him off. Only for him to go to an emergency room at regular hospital to fund out he had weeks to live and never seen outside of the hospital after. He died 13 days later. He went to hospital 9/11/2001 and passed 9/23/01. We watched the towers falling as dr told him he was dying ...

The problem with anything are the corrupt, dishonest people.
Socialism works perfectly well, just like Capitalism works perfectly well, as long as people play by the rules.
However, Capitalism is dishonest by design, in order to stay competitive, it inevitably has to resort to trickery, manipulation, cutting corners, outright lying and cheating.
So let's not pretend to have a higher moral ground, pointing your fingers at the sometimes imperfect Socialism, when Capitalism exploits every/any social weakness it can lay its hands on.

People in all the Gov, Both partys ect are in it. We killed about 65 million Baby's in the USA and looking at human life like it's nothing. We left the Holy Goodness of God out of the Gov. We say words to sound good but it's killing our earth. Everyone can stop this trashing of our plant God put us on but only a few try. Looking at the road side and see all the trash people push out the car as they drive down the road.
I have found that after any person been elect to office. A person or group of people come out of the dark and try to run things their way.
Hard to get good people to work with you in Gov. Each leader draws evil, me only who says yes to the leader when they line their own pockets .
When Jesus worked for people about Saving them from the Fires of hell. Many people in the background tried to control Him but when they fail. Went about to kill Jesus. Look idea of whosoever is the leader. The people of the Dark side come out to suck out the life and money from these leaders.
The love and caring about people become lost under the feet of evil hearted people and them others just say the leader is the one who fail, but who can lead with so many evil hearted people coverup the leaders like pigs. Look at the last leader named Trump. So many worked to milk Him and the USA or push Him under the bus for their own glory. Sad but I fear too many people now want for themselfs and care less about others. Their words sound good, like honey but is death for USA in Time. Let love everyone and keep the faith in the most faithful '''Jesus'''. Jesus is Lord, King, Savior, Friend, and Our Greatness Hero. Have a great day. You are Loved. From USA . Tenn. Named after FDR.

Kennedy came out looking pretty bad. It's understandable why he didn't want a real response to his questions. And it looks like he may have gotten fooled by a constituent. Why would you bring something up like that without taking a survey to see if you were being duped? Why? Because he knows he has limited time and can cut answers short. Still didn't come out looking too well though.
As an aside, his constituency (wealthy business component of it) that keeps paying lower for more benefits from the government naturally doesn't look at what they have already gotten beyond their costs, but wants to know how much more they can get. Figures! Kennedy is one of the representatives/senators who cares a lot about the wealthy and appears would be all too happy to have them pay as close to $0 in taxes while getting trillions in support from society including from military (which makes trillions in profits possible regardless of the lack of fairness in compensation to the majority of workers and citizens).

He may "know what he's doing with his questions," but that's exactly the point. When asking questions in a genuine way, you actually allow the person to respond. If it's a trash answer, you respond to that, and you can counter with facts at that point. But just wanting the answer you want means you didn't come for new information. It's actually a massive problem in our current day discourse, as everyone just wants their echo chamber.
For example, "I know it's not under your jurisdiction..." and then he launches the question anyway. You're a Senator. You could directly contact the department who sent this and figure it out. It's just political theater and we are the audience paying for the "privilege" of watching the show.

@@MRGior-wo6dk Property tax, income tax, sales tax, tariffs, carbon taxes, other undesireables taxes (alcohol, tobacco, etc). And I hate the lie that money can only be taxed once. Scenario:
You work $100 worth. You get paid $100 - income tax. Let's say that's 20% for simplicity. Now you have $80.
Spend $80 on an hour of landscaping
~15% goes to sales tax. So that's $68 for the landscaping company
10% goes to corporate income tax
The landscaper gets paid, let's say 15 dollars.
20% of that goes into income tax for that landscaping employee.
So you made $100. In one further transaction and its necessary taxes, that $100 got split into a few groups: $12 to the landscaping employee. $49.20 went to the landscaping company. And the remaining $38.8 went to tax. So in 2 transaction levels, you earning the money and then spending it on one thing, the government ended up with nearly 40% of the money. Add some more levels of spending, and government gets nearly 100% back.
So how can anybody make money? Only 2 solutions. Everybody gets a government job (which only solves half the problem and then still needs option 2), or we rely HEAVILY on international trade to bring external monies into the country.
In essence, this means that in order to have heavy taxation, the only solution is to export heavily. Rape the land for its minerals, or severely underpay your workforce so that manufacturing can come to your country, like China and Taiwan. Considering people think $15 an hour minimum wage is too low somehow, I highly doubt $1 an hour manufacturing jobs will every happen. So what's left? Automation. The only way we can afford to remain a world power is to invest heavily in automation. And guess what!?!? That also means wiping out most jobs. Next step? everybody on welfare. Oopsies, problem not solved. Maybe at this point we can reconsider how living in Elysium has fucked us up royally.

    • @Nathan-dt2tu
      @Nathan-dt2tu Před 2 lety +2

@@MRGior-wo6dk What's worse than the stat you quoted is that that is for the AVERAGE person. Rich people can afford to earn interest on their money, while poor people spend it right away. So which group ends up paying more than 76%?
And then another level of money-leeching. The poor also tend to have unmanageable debts, for which they either a) pay 20% interest rates or b) get a payday loan and pay 1000%+ interest when you inevitably default.
Our problem isn't that people aren't able to make money, or that some people don't make enough. It's that the government needs such a huge cut to continue to function. To top it all off, as you already mentioned, money isn't printed free. It's printed by the central bank and loaned out with interest.

I have worked in the Construction Industry and still do. I started in 1986. It is NO DIFFERENT if you are working in the field then or now. That being said, there is more of a use of electronics which I still hate, Ipads vs. a full sized set of prints, but in the end, you read your prints and build your job. I only went to high school, no college, yet I have been a Supt for 21 years, I have built hotels, apartments and shopping centers, roads, flood channels etc, and not once did I need additional training to read the prints and build the job. IF your an engineer or a architect you will be getting your education at the proper school, NOT retrained by the Fed's. Just another way to fleece our money.
