I saw your shawl on the proper pineapple YT channel. Hers is just lovely. I have a huge stash n finally figured out which yarn I’m using. Thank you soo much for this shawl. Your shawls are dreamy.
Oo, what's that? I'll check it out. Thanks for telling me and for the compliments. Enjoy and let me know when you finish, I'd love seeing your project ❤️
YarnAndy she called it raspberry crescent shawl n I could not find it on Ravelry. I searched again n found it. She’s posted her fob on your Rav page. I hope you two can connect. She’s a lovely person and lives in Texas, I think. Her name is Holly.
@@wendelynyoung8609 I guess it's a bit late for that, as she's been hosting a CAL in a paywalled group using my patterns and giving out wrong advice on my behalf. I can't even begin to state in how many ways that is wrong, harmful and offensive to me. If you have problems with my patterns, please write to me, I'll help you navigate through them.
YarnAndy oh no. I’m so sorry to hear that. Looking at your comments, it’s obvious you’re so helpful n quick to respond n fix if necessary. I’ll be unsubscribing from her channel. I’ll leave it at that. Now this really wants me to make your shawl. I’d planned on today but my son is painting my walls n of course I have to put my two cents in. Lol. And he’s a grown man, but mom’s mom. Take care and I’m looking forward to making your shawls.
I adore your patterns.... just finished Gooseberry Marmalade and would love for you to see it in the yarn I used. I don’t have Instagram but I use Ravelry and not sure how to post pictures there....This shawl reminds me of Gooseberry Marmalade..... I’m a bit afraid to start it because of the large number of repeats..... I have the chart which I find helpful so the repeat starts at 3? Or 2? through 14?
I would love to see it! On Ravelry, you go to your notebook and have an option there to add a project. You then go through a "wizard", where you choose your craft, add a project name and can search for the pattern name. Then you can add photos and I can see them. I found your Facebook page, but it's not public. For this pattern, you have a 12 row repeat, so it doesn't matter where you begin the repeat. I don't know if you have the latest version, I wrote out all the detailed instructions for 62 rows, which uses up the 800 meters of yarn. If you need more than that, let me know. You can get the updated version from Ravelry or my website.
YarnAndy Hi I’m still try to figure out how to post to Ravelry hehe, I’m not much good with knowing how to do it yet... I tried to fix Facebook where it was public so hopefully it will work right....I’ve also signed up for newsletter to get notifications...Hopefully I can start Raspberry Croissant and Tomis soon.. Thank you for your help ❤️
If you use the 800 meters, the finished shawl should measure around 160-170 cm in length and 50-60 cm width. It will be larger if you use more yarn. You stop when you are happy with the size of your shawl.
Any chance there is a way to put an update to the video to include row 15? I can’t seem to get it, I know to go back to row 2 and follow but it’s not clicking. Thanks if possible
Hey Kerri, it would be a lot of work to make a video with the following rows. Did you download the pattern? I'll put out an update with many more rows detailed, so can you follow along with the text?
@@kerribos7180 great, I will let you know in a comment here when the updated pattern is available. Until then, you may want to try my Rainbow shawl, it has a similar shape, but it's much more beginner-friendly and it has all the rows spelled out.
YarnAndy wondering if it finally clicked for me, in the last dc from row 14 would I chain3,ch2,dc and the 4dc in that stitch to start row 15? Sorry to be a pain in the butt.
Sorry about that, it was my first video tutorial. Mistakes were made, but I think I've come a long way since then. I no longer put music in the background of newer videos. For this one (and in general on the channel) you can turn on closed captions to follow along, even though they are not great. I will update them when I get a bit of time.
Hey Heather, it's not an error, there should be 19. You count each chain as one stitch, as well. Each row increases by 8 stitches and you also have a chart to look at the stitches if you are unsure of stitch counts for each row.
Dankjewel voor dit prachtige patroon.

I already made a cherry red and a black shawl. Now I am making a peacock blue one. This helps me stay productive and cheerful.

Hi I’m new here. Scraptastic Yarn is how I heard of you 😃
Hi! Thanks for letting me know about it! Hope you enjoy my videos and the patterns 😊
What are the measurements of finished product?

I have downloaded and printed off the pattern, I just can’t get past the beginning of the row 15
YarnAndy yes if I can see the rows past 14 in text or diagram I will know what to do thank you so much, it’s a beautiful pattern

The music is too loud. Hard to hear you. Beautiful pattern, though.

In your English patter for row 2 it says you should have a total of 19 stitches. Is this an error? No matter what I do I am only ending up with 15.
Hey Heather, it's not an error, there should be 19. You count each chain as one stitch, as well. Each row increases by 8 stitches and you also have a chart to look at the stitches if you are unsure of stitch counts for each row.
