"New and improved" Brixley Talent Time?
Son the only way to improve this map is to stick Brixleys corpse in a locker
Nah, S rank these levels. Prison will be a living hell for the rest of their lives for everyone involved.
@@lawfulgoodgaming4836tbf it's gonna be a very short life either way
@@lawfulgoodgaming4836 Especially the known “child diddler” Suspects. They have a real common occurrence of being murdered by fellow inmates and guards. Everyone hate people who hurt kids.
Fun fact: Brixley is such a little weasel of a bastard, he's the only AI coded to specifically try and kill himself when cornered.
what a little bastard he is
Babe wake up, Shayne just posted
i’m up can you keep it down
@@yukhzia no, suffer
I like to think the reason why Brixley uses a revolver when confronted is an extension to his Cowboy George persona.
he dosent always though
"Imagine seeing this place and be like yeah, I think I'll go in there"
You' d be surprised how easily and quickly desperation turns what would normally be considered terrible ideas into great ideas.
@@pickelsvx agreed
I think it's supposed to show how the lower class of LS is so fucked that the only good future they see for their kids is the possibility of becoming a successful actor by going to this dirty broke out place
Honestly, I think it's quite a shame these videos don't get more views. I think you're a really underrated channel, and I've been binging all of your Ready or Not videos. These are very good lore videos, with a level of quality of something I would usually expect from a bigger channel.
He needs to use up his ron lore 🇦🇺tism on the thumbnails for that
I think that there might be another explanation for the conversation with Dr. Davis: He could have had that desire to act and made home movies then became a very small scale child actor. During this time in those small roles, the director could have assaulted or molested him which leads to him avoiding going into detail about the acting during the sessions. This could have lead to more severe mental illness later on in life and he in turns takes that further ending up on the registry, assaulting his fellow female officer, and becoming a director himself targeting kids after getting out of the USDB at Ft. Leavenworth.
That's what I thought. He snaps at the doctor a little aggressively.
That was my read on it as well.
A creepy and interesting thing that i found on brixley is that if you shoot the roof tiles in the bathroom of the main building near the stair instead of bullet holes there were blood stained holes, like the ones when you shoot a person. I discoverd this in early acces but i dont know if it is still there. I think i may still have a screenshot of it, maybe you would want to see it
Concerning the mysterious letter, as soon as I heard “staircase”, I was reminded of the spider etched into the wall in the docks map. I have no idea why the letter would include the location of that drawing, but it might be relevant
Volls basement for sure
3:54 “quietly and respectfully” 😭
You know it’s a good week when Shayne uploads 2 ready or not videos
First version of this map was like a squad speed run to stop a disturbed man from “game ending” himself
When it comes to the Mysterious Inquiry I believe it works something like this:
A Dead Dog - Diner (Related to Meth House)
A Burning Man - Meth House (Related to Diner AND possible trafficking through that location)
Redwood Tree - Gerard (?) (Related to who the hell knows)
Boat on a Dock - 100% Port Hokan (WE KNOW THIS WAS A ***MAJOR*** HUB OF TRAFFICKING)
Staircase - Neon Tomb (We know it is in lore that some of the dancers were trafficked there)
Authority - LSPD
Eye - Being Watched by LSPD (Could relate due to the fact that the LSPD raided MindJot so they are on high alert)
Control - Trafficking
Styx - Coyote
Voll - Voll is Voll
Brixley - Brixley is Brixley.
I think staircase is Volls basement
So is this some confirmation that all of the events are connected, as in the spider?
EYE is likely a reference to the USIA. Their seal is an eye, after all, and they seem to be an overarching antagonist to whatever is going on with David Platoon, more specifically Judge.
Shayne do the thug shake
I second this.
A few questions here:
- Why were the children let go from the site?
- What's the connection of the human-trafficking plot line with the Gas Station robbery? The other maps mentioned are pretty straightforward, but not this one.
- Was Brixley possibly a victim of abuse himself? He mentioned that the movie was something his mom suggested. Is it a cycle of child abuse continuing, or is he just in for the money? I think it's the former due to his history of sexual assault, his high likelihood to commit suicide and all the other evidence.
All good questions, here's my take:
"Why were the children let go from the site?"
I think there are two possible explanations for this. If you want to take the briefing at face value, I imagine that most of the children would have been playing in the front lobby where officers could evacuate them without heavy resistance from Bolton security. The remaining children may have fled in a panic and the guards weren't willing to use force to stop them. Even if the guards had some idea of what was going on between Brixley and Voll, it's a big step to go from criminal conspiracy to outright murder. A big theme in this game is desperation, with both the guards and the parents of the children citing financial problems as their motivation for their actions, so I can imagine the guards allowing the children to escape without firing on them. From a realistic perspective, VOID is simply unable to justify the cost of including child NPCs in this game, and this line was a way to explain their absence in the mission. The mere plan to include a school shooting map drew negative attention from video game outlets and the general public to the point where the devs elected to have Elephant take place at a college where the "kids" in question would at least be over the age of 18. Perhaps this will change in the future but I doubt it; while many fans would appreciate the gritty realism the headlines would not be favorable for a game that allows the player to harm children, even if accidentally.
"What's the connection of the human-trafficking plot line with the Gas Station robbery? The other maps mentioned are pretty straightforward, but not this one."
Maybe I'm forgetting something, but is there a connection between Gas and the human-trafficking plot line? Other than the theory that the robbery was actually a targeted hit on Mudasir, I thought that mission was more related to the drugs storyline like Twisted Nerve.
"Was Brixley possibly a victim of abuse himself?"
As others have commented, it certainly seems possible based on his aggressive response to the therapist, and victims of sexual abuse are much more likely to become future victims or perpetrators of sexual violence themselves. I thought that his stern answer to the therapist could have also been out of shame for not succeeding in the entertainment industry, but there's no way to know for sure.
Releasing the children would buy a little more time, as negotiators and TOC have to replan around it.
Man, it was so wild, my sidearm had a misfire. Anyway, Brixley was DOA don't look into it.
Shayne, please never shut up about ready or not
The most horrifying aspect imo to this level is the toys in the waiting room lobby. Just picture the parents anxiously waiting while their kid plays with the toys in the lobby with no idea what is happening to them. Just awful. Excellent level design, the devs really get the atmosphere right!
“Quietly and Respectfully entering the building” After blowing the door off its hinges 😂
W lore series excited for the episode on sin of the father. That map seems so interesting.
I love these Lore series. I can't wait for this one and Frostpunk. Its so cool. I love the work you put in. Even your own headcannon's are so good. This is the first time I actually turned on the notification bell for a channel.
i guess the cowboy george thing is the main reason george uses a 357 revolver in the spider
After knowing about Brixley's childhood, I kinda feel sad for him as someone who grew up in an abusive household.
He may be an accomplice to a real evil person but his father is to be blamed for his anger issues in adulthood
Bro this series is sick
Staircase might be a reference to a sign (A*** Staircase) in Ready Or Not - Official Reveal Trailer timestamp 0:42 in that trailer. I m not sure it was a scrapped map or changed to something else.
My turn, the letter from the dumpster could be related to those guys on port Hokan in the container in the end of the hangar. When entering you can see discord-call of ,,Scientology‘‘ people. Idk if there are more hints on port Hokan.
Nice video, as always. By the way, there's some media on certain missions that add to explaining some of the lore that I would enjoy seeing you tie in to your next video!
Hell yes! Been waiting for the return of ready or not lore since the 1.0 release
Nice, bro just pumped out 2 episode of my fav RON series on yt in a span of few days, kess gooo.

Yessssss more lore
YUSSS! New shayne post!
LES GOOOO. TIME TO PLAY RoN AGAIN
fun fact, there are VO files for children specifically for this map, which also includes children being tased, gassed, injured, and killed
Yo man, love your videos. I just have on things to say, the audio is a bit quiet, from the briefing, to your narrating, its quite quiet, other than that, your videos are awesome.
They made the hide and seek map so much creepier especially when u find the container
19 minutes 283 views, we're so back.
There’s another cryptic message on one the top of one of the shelves , the same interactable that is playing the music in the front plays that plays music , but the one in his office has a cryptic message. I don’t know what it means. Next to it is a stack of redacted documents that look to be federal
Let's fucking go!! Shayne posted!!
Could be an idea to push audio between 6 and 10 dB when you edit. :)
Watching at 12 pm 😉
Number 15, might aswell call me burger king foot letuce…haha….get it?..
I think you should redo the intro again, like remake it after the old maps are done being remastered
My eyes 👀
They deceive me
Can you pls add the mindjob video to the playlist
MOREEE MOREEEE
I decode the letter emblems for you.
Dead Dog: (D. Authority) Mexican immigrant gang, related to the gang in "Greased palms" and "Rusty belt" (Musle force)
Burning man: (de St. Claverty) (aka "prominent ruler" in scottish) The Satanic looking figure from Port Hokan. (Service towards customers and organiser)
Boat with the dog: (Lauren Mauritius) Port Hokan, (international shipping)
Staircase: Mindjot: Servers are being claced on top of each other hence they got "levels" (Content servers)
Voll is of cource simply Voll or to say content creator
I could not read the 2 on the lower left side, but they must be connected to Brixley, and the car dealership.
The big tree replesents a hidden figure called "Spider" the non public, hidden boss of this organisation.
As for the rest.
Thank You, Come Again: I think it could relate, The hitmans could be some of the muscles, Maybe the veteran who got killed connected to Brixley on a way?
Staircase is definitely a reference to Voll's basement... right?
could there be some connection between the child crying in the border reserve and voll or brixley?
11:58 Staircase? Possible Anal Staircase reference? Teaser? Reveal? Are we getting the Anal Staircase? After all these years? Is it next map?!
Please Shayne, don't shut up.
Soo mindjolt is for now the only possible canonically non-lethal swat???? Can some one inform me better
Mindjot is a server company which Voltov and brixley have used for the CP.
@@alphabravo424 no yeah i saw the vid but i think i didnt explain well: my thinking is, if is the swat could have been the non-lethal or is a still no
@@escopetadebronce if you mean that if swat could have used non-lethal than yeah. If not try to give me an example of what you mean.
@@alphabravo424 thanks man yeah that was it, i wonder how manny maps you could do a non-lethal justified due to the circumstances
@@escopetadebronce the streamer, and any other one you consider non-lethal can be used. My advice based on viewing bodycam videos irl is to have an ai with lethal. In case it goes wrong
Yoooo
No views in 20 seconds shayne fell off
bad mixing
tone down the music plox
