Thanks that you showed us every side of the box and all of the plastic bags. Although you have skipped the foil sticked to the neck-band.

I purchased mine September 2018 for $420.00. I used it maybe once and put it away. Used it again and received a message on the app that the battery was dying after about 15 minutes. Tried the troubleshooting......nothing doing. Kicking myself that I did not use the warranty before it ran out. Bose website offered to have it back for a replacement, but I have to pay for it. Replacement offer was about $200.00. Forget that! I have a sour taste in my mouth for Bose now.

I purchased yesterday. Sound quality is amazing. Noise cancellation
is good. Mic is OK for me. I talked my wife and she did not understand that I
    used Bose for phone.
I had also Jabra Sport. Bose is far more superior regarding sound
quality. I have also QuietComfort 35. It is also perfect.

I bought the Jabra Elite Active 65T yesterday. They are back in the box and going back on eBay for resale. Don't like them at all.

I operate the Bose juke box product found in pubs and restaurants. I listened to your review and was looking for a comment on determination of design. I purchased the QC30 specifically for the environmental noise control. Great product that does bring other sound benefits for anyone outside of a studio environment. My day consists of street traffic, pub environment, cell phone talk etc. and I love this headset. The BOSE logo is good for me to have discretely displayed on its headband because of my main product which is awesome in all of the above situations.

Thanks for the video. Alas, I watched all the video and you hardly mentioned the ANC ability, battery life with ANC on/off etc.

I have to applaud you on talking about the AAC and SBC codecs and introducing it to people who are not aware. I have not heard anyone else talk about codecs and compatibilty with devices in other earphone/headphone videos.

Your reviews are one of the best I've seen on you tube. Easy to understand and full of informations.
I am not into wireless earphones, but I must admit Sony WI-1000X seem tempting as the transition. Included 3.5 cable and possibility to use them with it is attractive to me. If you review them, pls compare sound on 3.5 and without it. If I had a chance to buy an earphone, by everything I've seen and heard, I would go for Sony mdr-ex1000 but they're not available where I live, discontinued.
Now I am in problem, should I opt for future bcs great 3.5 is disappearing ( Lg V series lvl) or should I go for some great 300 wired earphone. Than I must choose from fewer phones that have adequate DAC and amp. Can Sony WI 1000x compete with same priced wired earphones....sound quality most important aspect and use on smartphones with fine DAC. Currently on htc 10 and probably going for Lg G7 or potentially V40.

Soooooo, curious about your comment that people have been able to hear you fine. Do you still have them and have you been using them? If so, this still the case? Are there no complaints?
I’ve had mine for a year and really love the sound and noise canceling (commuter train during week days) but using it for a phone call does not work well.

So is the call quality "pretty excellent" or "pretty well"? I am looking for a mic that is reliable and excellent in terms of the receiver hearing me.

I have the past version of these EarPods, it has a really good performance but after a few years the cable turns to peal like a a banana. Now recently I buy the Quiet confort 35 II, Im not sure if the noise canceling its different from de EarPods but my perceptions in compasiron of both models, the earpods have more intensity of noise canceling rather than the QC 35ii, ... any thoughts?

My only concern is, what if your laying down about to bench press. Would they fall off of your neck and out of your ear.

Power button has it challenges the volume and ANC controls on right wired earbud have
good feedback but not great. The ANC controls on the other hand could of been
    slightly wider in my opinion.

i bought some about 2 years ago for $330 ( with tax ) and after a year and 6 months the two ends of the collar thing wore out :( mind i ONLY wore them indoors so it is not like i went sweating with them or gotten rain on through out time... These earbuds though are the BEST at sound quality with music. at first it sounded to tight and the bass was exaggerated but after a week of listening oml these are very good i never wanted to buy $20 dollar earbuds again!!! so i was very sad and agrivated that these broke down on me. for $300 these should of at least lasted me half of my life time but i purchased them through amazaon so maybe that's why ?? but for the sake of the sound signiture i MIGHT buy them again from the bose store.... for now i am going to try out the QC 25's since i found some for $179 but if you are buying these TAKE GOOD CARE!!! i would tape the ends of the rubbery collar thing.

Thanks for the review. i bought the qc30s when they first came out and used them for a while on train journeys where the noise cancelling was very useful but i was disappointed with the sound. I have now retired them for two reasons; the e8s are much better sounding and the isolation with comply tips is good enough, and there is an issue with the qc30 when taking calls on them. there is a large thread on the bose website with details but, in summary, they seem to amplify background noise making it difficult for callers to hear you (see community.bose.com/t5/Wireless-Headphones/QC30-for-Communication/m-p/68866#M10625). Makes it difficult to use them on noisy commutes where people can call you but not hear you.

I’ve had these for years and the main issue with these headphones is tasking phone calls. When I have these on and I take a phone call the person the other end can never hear me. It’s a serious issue, since I got another one since it was under warranty, and the phone call issue was still present. It’s good for the gym and listening to music, but totally useless for taking phone calls.

I bought it from the review without trying it first and it appears that Bose's earbuds are too large. I cannot put them in my ear.
Later I found Huawei's bluetooth which is more comfortable.
It's sound quality is very good with the price 10 times cheaper and lighter.

  • @calvinosq

The build quality on QC30 is really poor. The mic doesn't work well for phone calls. The rubber shell detaches from the plastic in less than a year.

    • @timmymorris91
      @timmymorris91 Před 3 lety

The rubber peeled off on mine too, then I could hardly push the mushy power button. I took them off charge once and got a permanent red error light on them, and they haven’t worked since. 0/10. Sound was great though.
Bose are replacing them with the new QC earbuds or QC 35ii.

not able to make call using them and you mention build quality, if you have been living under a rock, do a search you will see Bose have dropped the ball on this. the tips just come away after a short period on time, for £200-£300 I/we expect much better build quality!!!! these headphones are rubbish for the price. please revisit this video bose need to be made aware that these have to recalled!!!!

Bose QC30 - Never buy this product as this has a design flaw. After some months you may notice noise coming out from the left earphone. The reason might be because this earphone has control panel on right side and left side is connected through the neck band. After some use of neck band itself you might notice getting disturb noise on your left earphone. I visited their store to repair it after one year and they can’t do anything unless you do trade with them to buy same new product where you get 20% off. Still you will get the same new design flaw earphone which might damage in couple of months. Worst product. Mic is also very bad. Only the good part I noticed is ANC. Personally I never recommend this design flaw product. Thanks.

I’ve used Bose headphones for years until they literally fell apart. Then I tried these. Big mistake. I purchased 2 months ago in Aug of 2019, and they’re already malfunctioning. Now not returnable, of course. Will not charge or connect to devices. $310 wasted on this garbage.

Bose headphones goes towards to intellectual sophisticated people.. The sound is excellent for classical, rock, soft music.. If you are a rapper-guetto go and buy BEATS headphones.

Says a person going by the name of 'murd 777'. You are plainly stupid. Are you Trump? I am educated, sophisticated, intellectual, well travelled and lived, not to mention multi lingual because of my travels and the places I have lived. I like music across the whole spectrum. Silly person.
