    what kind of shifts were you able to pick up in all 4 of the parks since ur role was based in the resorts?

    • @StorybookBella
      @StorybookBella  Před rokem

      there’s a lot of shifts that don’t require specific training, such as many types of special events, party shifts, and poolside assistance at some resorts! also, there are many F&B shifts that don’t require extra training:)

    I applied for the dcp for spring 2023 but didn't get in. I want to apply for either fall 2023 or spring 2024. However, I have some conflicts. I have a couple of traditions in the fall and in summer of next year I might have a wedding to attend. And I know that there's no gauranteed days off and if you do you only get one day a month. Any suggestions on what I should consider?

      Hi!! If you have more conflicts in the fall, I’d suggest doing the spring program so you don’t have to stress about days off:) But if you’d like to do the fall program, I think it is definitely still possible! You usually get 2 days off per week, and you can also request additional approved days off in advance or speak to your leaders about your situation once you get there. Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with! Best of luck with the next round of applications:)

    Is it hard to extend the program? For how long you can extend the program and when you should start taking actions towards it? What and how can I do that ? Thank you for video and I hope for your response!

    • @StorybookBella

      You can apply for an extension during your program, totaling up to one year on the program since your original start date! During your program you will receive an email with information on how to apply, which will give you all the information you need to extend!

    Hi Bella, your video was great and very helpful. I got accepted for the fall 23' 😁(August move in). What hotels are the best for friends and family w/ DCP discount? Do you get to network with Imagineers or anyone in the corporate side of Disney?

      Hey, congratulations! ✨ There are many hotels across the street from Flamingo that your family can get discounts on by joining the parents group on facebook! If you want to stay on Disney property, you also have discounts you can use for yourself / friends and family. For networking, they have lots of cool seminars to meet higher ups, but if theres a specific department you are interested in you can always speak to your leaders so they can connect you to someone! I knew someone at my location who was able to speak to Imagineering and connect with them on their program!

    if you're in the dcp, can you bring your family into the park with you for free on your days off?

    • @StorybookBella
      @StorybookBella  Před rokem

      you’ll get a guest ticket after traditions, and 3 more every 150 hours you work (up to 9 tickets per calendar year!) and you can bring in friends/family into the park w these:)
