  • AXBB-E is an Ethernet CNC controller. The software it uses is UCCNC but it supports MACH3 and MACH4. It can control up to 6 CNC axes and it's stepping frequency is at its max 400kHz. It supports also rigid tapping with use of incremental encoders.
    It supports servos and stepper motors which can be controlled by step/dir signals. The ethernet connection should provide electric noise protection for the machine.
    Can't wait to test this guy in action!

    Hello. A big thankyou to you Sir.
    Because of your videos I was able to get everything working on the AXBB-E board.
    I'd previously purchased an NVEM 4 axis board and had that a few years, but it was totally unreliable.
    So yes .... Thankyou.

    hello, could you please tell me if the controller is supporting the backlash compensation and if you have to purchase separatly the uccnc license or you get it with the AXBB-E
    ?

    • @GBWM_CNC
      @GBWM_CNC  Před rokem +1

      Hello. This controller supports backlash compensation. You have to buy the license seperatly but it is quite cheap compared (like $50 or so). So compared to MACH3 it seems to be much cheaper. Also the controller works with MACH3/4 too if you have that license already.

    Hi, would you be able to put up a quick parts list (with part/brand names) when it comes to the wiring and quick detach connectors you used? Also, I have the same PSUs and was wondering if you directly plugged them into a 110 V AC source. They are rated for 100 V - 240 V, but you mentioned connecting them to your PC first, so I wasn't sure where you connected the PSU input to. I don't want to damage them.

    • @GBWM_CNC
      @GBWM_CNC  Před 7 měsíci

      The quick connectors are "wago" connectors. About the devices - it's a axbb-e controller. What else exactly do you need? There is a lot of informations on my channel about the things I build. About the PSUs - I plugged them directly to 230V AC (this is the power source we have here). The PC was connected just to the controller. The PC contains the software which communicates with the controller to make the motion on the machine. If you're new to this - I think you can get quite a bit informations on my channel or similar channels over here! :)

    Jest jakaś różnica w połączeniu między zwykłym kablem a crossover'owym?

    • @GBWM_CNC
      @GBWM_CNC  Před rokem

      Kwestia tego, że aby połączyć zwykłym to musi być po drodze jakiś router / switch. Tzn wpinamy sterownik do switcha / routera i komputer też wpinamy do switcha / routera. No i parę szczegółów potem w kwestii ustawień. Kablem crossover'owym podłączamy bezpośrednio sterownik bezpośrednio do komputera (czyli to co zrobiłem na filmie) . W samym działaniu nie powinno być różnicy.

    • @GBWM_CNC
      @GBWM_CNC  Před rokem +1

      There might be an issue with the cable. I had a similar problem - there was no connection between the PC and the controller because the RJ45 connector had a factory issue. Pressing a new connector on one end of the cable fixed the issue. You can also try the straight cable method with an switch / router between the PC and controller.
