I love the little bungalow at 24.15.It would suit me perfectly.I also love Dee Dee's car.
The theme music is just perfect !!!! It conveys the essence of this great show .
That, and 'Dee Dee' make the show. Fred is the heavy who kicks the butts. Pretty simple plan, but we liked it, back in the day

Also i noticed in season 5 that Dee Dee didn't seem happy.She didn't smile or laugh like she did in earlier seasons,could this be because Fred Dryer was putting undue work pressures on her making her unhappy.

I liked Hunter's red striped tie and Dee Dee's red dress in this episode.
I also noticed that Mc Call's car has changed, its now no longer a two tone car like it was in season one,its now just red.
Also was Dee Dee's car modelled on the Pontiac trans am?

Why has Hunter and Dee Dee started wearing dull dowdy clothes?I preffered them in clothes that were bright and stylish like they had in earlier seasons.

And the way he bonks his hand here with a loud CLAAAAAANG!!! 43:21 Straight out of the 3 Stooges!!! And notice how they look back at Hunter and then he's between a different set of posts than when he hit his hand. The gun should have landed farther up by the orange post next to the green post. Bad continuity here. And the next time they show the orange and green post pair, there's no gun lying there. This must have been a pickup shot later, because Hunter runs through and doesn't see a gun on the floor that he needs to grab. There does seem to be an object obscured by a post when they show Hunter about to run out the door from a different angle 43:32, but I can't imagine he'd just ignore a loose gun on the floor. He ALWAYS picks up loose guns, even when he's in hot pursuit!!
And those yellow and red dresses keep moving around from shot to shot!!
43:37 Stunt double alert!!! I don't even bother to mention these as there are many per episode, but it's so obvious sometimes. And the bag o' rocks sound effect when the guy hits the floor, of course. Also, this truck was just going to drive away with his back doors flapping?? I thought of that as I was wondering how long Hunter and the bad guy were stuck together in that trailer! What if he's going to San Francisco???? HAHAHA!!! Not only that, but they use that huge rig to deliver that tiny load of garments???? They don't have something smaller for that size of load??? Maybe he's dead-heading and coming back with something bigger. Just another problem with a TV production for us to overlook.

44:46 I've mentioned before how I am not too keen on the way the new outro and music kind of fade in in a lackadaisical fashion, but even worse is how they took away the little still shots of things that happened earlier in the episode, which is usually a nice way to look back at some of the interesting things we saw earlier. They certainly could have used something other than this uninvigorating night traffic shot.

But this one is really loud and egregious! It's just hilarious how every single screen door in this series sounds exactly the same. Talk about a failure of the foley department. If that was MY gig, I'd go out and record about 10 different screen door sounds rather than just rely on the one they got about 30 years prior and have been using ever since.

Speaking of stunt doubles, notice how there is no gold lining in Hunter's jacket here... 42:25 and yet there's a BLAZING gold lining in the stunt double's jacket here... 43:37 There may be other subtle details that a real clothing fanatic would notice, like buttons, lapel shape, etc. that I'm not even looking for.

Why aren't they pouring plaster in some tire tracks here? Oh... because they don't exist! Just like about 40 other impressions of footprints that don't exist for some reason!!! This is Monty Python-level hilarity!! But I digress. I guess I'm just being too picky here!
Also, did you notice how the actor broke his fall coming out of the car? 3:13 I guess it was the muscles reacting after rigor mortis had set in. 🤔

I worked at a place years ago where there were two different dudes with such an eye. They were opposite eyes to each other, so we had a drawing on a white board to remind us which eye was the good eye on each dude!! But when you were sitting at a meeting table, it was next to impossible to tell who they were talking to if you couldn't remember which eye was the good one!!!! Have you ever been in that situation????? 😆
