Ironically one of the main characters in this episode had early stage Alzhiemers and Darlanne Fluegel later in life had it too. She died in 2017.

Every thing has to change in life. I am not big on change but we all have too. I wish it was 80's every day it was so much better when I was a kid. I am 41.
I thought the other comments about Alzheimer's Disease were about Darlanne Fluegel, the co-star in the show. She died from early onset Alzheimer's at 64 in 2017.

So sad. But I have lost a brother to this disease. He passed away about four years ago. He was only 45. He actually got it by an head injury. In a car crash about 20 years ago.
Hunter is doing all the work. Partner has nothing to do.

Instructions to the actor ;laying the role of the bad guy: When you get shot, you grab your chest, and take 5 seconds to drop to the ground, during this time you have to do a 180 and another quarter turn. . To the shooter, act as if you do this every shift. The HUNTER series is, at best; a time killer. but ya gotta love 'Melinski' and/or Dee Dee

Well, I have to say it doesn't really feel that different without McCall, as much as we all loved her. I'll give it a chance. It seems like they were dramatically downplaying their partnership in the past couple of seasons anyway, so it's not that different with a new partner. And they switched over to Metro, so no more murder cases, perhaps as a further distraction to help us forget about the absence of Dee Dee. This was the last season for this show, so either the ratings sucked and it got cancelled, or seven seasons is the usual run for a TV show (I heard that somewhere recently, though in my 57 years I had never heard that before). Anyway, I'll give it a chance and keep going.
Gunsmoke was on for 25 years so the last season if hunter must have sucked..and the original Law and order was on 25 plus yrs ...
