Her hair was not damaged. That is why. Her hair is healthy and looks the same in every picture. It is straight in some of the pics, but it was never unhealthy. It was never short except in the baby pic.

Ally Asfaw use no heat and try using Shea moisture products, you have to go a while without using heat and cut off your damage ends

I’m new to your channel. Saw you on one of the 7daymakeup videos. Your curls are breath taking. I just started my transition journey 4 months ago. Blew my hair out once a week for years. Did a big chop and it was so painful to lose so much hair, but I also knew it was necessary for this journey. Hate my look and not until yesterday did I finally come to terms with the fact that my hair is short now. I’m hoping to stay strong to this journey and embrace the fact that I’m a woman on color and don’t have to conform to society’s idea of beauty. It’s hard because my neighborhood is mainly Caucasian. I feel like the odd man out. I hope to stay strong on my journey. It’s not just about my hair, my new journey is about self love. Happy that I have women like yourself as role models.
Ur hair is gorgeous! I feel a lot like u. I never had anyone to look to with hair like mine to know what to do with it. My family all had straight hair it was easier to just straighten. I honestly don't know how I wasn't bald with all the chemicals and heat I used. It's pretty healthy now but I'm still longing for it to be thicker someday.

I did the exact same thing with the iron, i used it A LOT on the crown of my head and on the front, it has made so hard to transition... but I am almost there 💪🏾

I totally agree with you. A blow dry is way more damaging than a roller set. I once asked about getting a roller set instead of a blow dry so as to not damage my hair and this hairstylist tried to lecture me about how it is not damaging. But then again, what does a white woman know about black hair?
My hair texture is quite similar to yours. You have inspired me and I have now cut off my heat damage. I still have some damage from highlights but once I grow that out I will no longer color my hair. Thank you for sharing this video. I look forward to continuing watching you natural hair journey as I go through my own and also learn how to care for my son’s.
Shea moisture is everything. I straighten as a protective style. The curls tangle and break my hair off😔

We have like the same hair journey even though I'm kinda younger. I'm a dancer too and I would straighten my hair all the time for performances and events. I didn't know how to do my curly hair because my mom didn't have time to do my hair and everyone around me would straighten there hair even though they had curly hair. I almost have completely cut off my damage and I haven't straightened my hair in 8 months.

You could try heartless satin binding. That could help with making is straight. Wash your hair and add the long satin strips around sections of your hair.

@hermela i love your hair. i am having troubles with mine. you know how Ethiopian girls hair problems. so you suggest any hair product for me? my hair has split endings, hasn't grown for a while plus its straighten or curl it often.

I don't ever straighten my hair anymore. Maybe once a year, probably not even that. But my hair is not shiny. It looks bad when I do wash and goes. When it dries completely, it doesn't look good. Its just dry. I need to try something else. I don't know what else to do though.

Tiffany Pace I luv almond oil, olive oil & pumpkin oil. Those 3 are my favorites. What's your hair porosity? I'm 4c & I can't use coconut oil & certain proteins makes my hair brittle

I have so much heat damage, I want to get my curls back. I recently started using deva curl and it's okay so far, but my question is, during the time when you complete stopped straightening your hair, did you you defuse it? I also wash my hair every 4 days, but I wanted to know what kind of oils or sprays are good to use to maintain the volume and moisture in between those 4 days of not washing ?

Hi do you use heat when you deep condition? How do you handle your weekday wash routine and going to bed if your hair is not dry yet? I would love to wash my hair 2-3 rimes a day to build up the moisture too but the problem is always , wet hair at bedtime.

Winter is making my scalp itchy and full of dandruff also I have shit ton of hairfall.. :( it's like my cg journey has reached a stop ..can u kindly give me some tips n stop or atleast reduce hairfall?
radioactive ood use shampoo and conditioner with eucalyptus oil or tea tree oil in it. Pre wash with tea tree oil on your scalp and massage leave oil on overnight and wash in the morning then condition. That should help your scalp and prevent hair fall.
