I remember this as being the most toxic atmosphere I'd ever experienced at Highfield Road in over 50 years following the Sky Blues! The West End was rocking for this game!!
My favourite Coventry side with Terry Yorath and Jim Holton. I also remember Ferguson getting a hat trick at Wolves. Not keen on the physio's tracksuit though
One broken leg, one stamp in the face........ just Yellows ! Arr the good old days! Where is my ‘Ferguson is Magic’ white tee-shirt with the funky 70’s lettering in sky blue?
I was at this game. You could hear Alan Green scream out when he got tackled by Tony Towers. It ended his carerr. Tried a comeback but eventually packed it in. Great player. So sad. Brum have a habit of horror tackles ending players careers

Can still hear the chant --"we're the barmy sky blue army la la la la "!
Taken from earlier in the season and the League cup tie up at Anfield (2-2)
'We're the barmy Anny road army'.

In fact Green played another 3 seasons for Coventry and then another 6 seasons in the USA including one appearance for the USA national team.
1:42 Gordon Milne?
Worst 1st half performance I've ever seen from bcfc
Green, was it a fracture? Dirty Brummies
