    Back before Game of Thrones put it on the map, it used to be a very popular spot for wedding photos. I was born just a few miles away from The Dark Hedges and hadn't been there in years until I made a trip back to Ireland last year. Very strange to see so many tourist there at what used to be a quite secluded spot.

      We headed there early that morning and it was wonderful to have it nearly to ourselves! It was very mystical…

    One of my favorite stops in Northern Ireland. Our guide said that it was overrated, but I disagree. I thought it was really cool and yes, spooky

      I didn’t feel it was overrated either… very magical. Did you get to Downhill Demesne and Mussenden Temple as well? They were some of our favorites 😊

      @@thissecondhalfadventure We did not, but we saw plenty of magical places during our trip to give us memories for a lifetime!
